This work was mostly done in Adobe After Effects.

The basic process for a head replacement:

1: Remove the old head. I paint a "clean" background (one with the head removed) in Photoshop. I track that clean background to the shot, and make a mask that reveals the clean background only where the old head was.

2: Stabilize the replacement head so it's stationary in frame.

3: Track the motion of the old head, and apply that motion to the replacement head.

Voila!

This one is the best, I think. You keep his head more or less the right size, which seems to defeat most of the challengers, and it moves well with the body. The lighting values are close, and the music works with the speech. And it fits the general idea of 'making him interesting' - it's still a presentation for an audience, but with Elvis moves.
