What makes visual studi 2010 better than 2008? well the looks are better. But what are the real advantages? :) please tell me im interested into programing. i havent started programming im just exploring. but it seems interesting :)

@lillen300 UI, I think they added some things to the start screen, the biggest thing is .NET 4.0 support... but VS2008 will still be fine for a beginer (as will 2010, but it uses more resources)

There are a lot of features in VS the average developer doesn't use, but all of them are used by some one in various combinations.

It is very easy to use, but knowing how to program is hard. I would sugest downloading one of the express editions (lighter than the full beta) and having a go at some C# in that, there are many tutorials for the beginner. Try googling it.

@saaf3005 look for some of the many books and tutorials availible online regarding a programming language, I recommend C# but C++ is good too. I would say to avoid VB as it a little weird
