  • This is great editing, to capture the feelings of the Incredible Hulk - as it was on an older television series - the emotion of the character, his love interest, the beat, and how it happened are all present - its amazing.... I'm glad to have seen and shared this with people - and Its very moving. Utilizing the actor Bill Bixby allow those of us who are older to identify with our dads or all American males who make mistakes and deal with burden of pressure in their lives and our own. This is :)

  • brenda was a beautiful women remember seeing her back in1973 in the first walking tall movie she played the informant in the bar.then she had a relationship with sheriff pusser.what a sad way her life ended.

  • you are download episodies

     hulk??

  • no one puts so much soul into acting like B.B./B.B.

  • This is such a touching tribute and the song so appropriate. I knew the story of Bill Bixby's ex-wife but knew very little about her. After I saw this tribute I watched the referenced episode of The Hulk 3xs and was struck by the subject matter in the story line and what ultimately happened with Brenda Benet..she was so beautiful. Bill Bixby is a man I've always admired and remains the best Incredible Hulk every. Thank you Lordismyportion for this.

  • Brenda and another male actor(against the wishes of Bill Bixby) took the,six-year old Christopher on a ski vacation in Mammoth Falls,California,March 31st,1981. He reportedly had a sore throat and cold and became worse at the location and could not breathe. He was rushed to an ill-equipped hosptial two hours away where they tried to insert a beathing tube in his throat and he suffered cardiac arrest. He died within 24 hours. Brenda Benet felt guilty and shot herself in the head one year later.

  • LOVE it.

  • Rest in peace, Wilfred Bailey "Bill", Brenda Benet, and Christopher Sean Bixby. You will all be remembered! Peace!

  • "In 2003, for X2, Hugh Jackman mentioned in an interview talk show This Morning that he planned to make a biopic of Bill Bixby, that he had been drawn to the project by Bryan Singer and that it was a project he loved. A year later, while promoting Van Helsing, he mentioned on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno that he wanted to make the movie soon. Leno showed a picture of Jackman and Bixby and pointed out the similarities in looks. Jackman would later reveal he was drawn to Bixby's story"

  • Wow.. As a dedicated fan of Bill Bixby, I find this so touching and heart breaking to watch. So many tragedies. Turmoil. Haunting. Thanks for sharing this with us....

  • I viewed this memorable episode a couple months back not realizing that the pretty actress was his real life wife. It was hard not to like Bill back in the day. You really got the impression he was playing himself not David Banner. Nice song to go with a fine video. He'll always be forever in our hearts. RIP Bill and Brenda.

  • Very great job.

  • Wow, I thought I had commented on this video. After watching this a while back I had bought the song, I like this group. I think it's a perfect song for the 'Bill and Brenda' relationship. It's terribly sad, but these words really make a statement. Great video.

  • Bill Bixby and Brenda Benet had been married...it's a long story - they later broke up, but out of that marriage had a little boy, who one day took ill and died from a stomach ailment, & Brenda committed suicide.

  • Bill and Brenda divorced in 1980. Their six year-old son Christopher, died of complications of a throat infection in 1981. Brenda committed suicide the following year.

  • Hi Lordismyportion... I remember reading about this when it happened. It seems that Christopher died as a result of being bitten by a snake.

  • @atisaseret Actually, Bill Bixby's son died from a throat infection called epiglottitis.

  • @Juliaflo - well, be that as it may - it was reported at the time that it was due to stomach complications, but I stand corrected.

  • @Juliaflo - well, be that as it may - it was reported at the time that it was due to stomach complications, but I stand corrected. See my comment below from 2 YEARS AGO.

  • Brenda only appeared in one episode of the Incredible Hulk, ironically.

  • She committed suicide...shot herself in the head. Very tragic.

  • OK - I stand corrected about what the Boy died of - but he did indeed suffer from stomach problems. And I never stated that they were married when Brenda killed herself - I said - they HAD been married.

  • My elaboration is for the benefit of those who are not aware of the facts.

  • How did his wife pass away?

  • She shot herself.

  • The wonderful Bill Bixby would have been 75 years old this past January.

  • true story: now my 7 yr old daughter is a huge

bill bixby fan, lol ......... of course i told her how

her dad grew up watching the show in the

70's and how he learned very valuable lessons

    in compassion and sentimentalism.

    thank u for the video ! ! ! ! ! ! !

  • Awesome!!! He played such wonderful characters, so inspirational.

  • u really did an awesome job here .... finding

the perfect song for this very special episode.

i think all of these tragedies surrounding bill &

brenda should remind us of how precious life

    really is.

  • I agree with you. Thank you so much for watching my video. And your comment is very kind! :)

  • REST IN PEACE MY HERO, Bill Bixby was my hero in The Incredible Hulk, now he's in heaven.

  • this is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you soooo much! :) :) :)

  • Hey, love the video. I actually reponded with a video I did myself. It might not be your cup of tea; it's a little heavy. Great job on this video, makes me sad :(

  • Thanks, stuball95! I just watched your video response and I like it a lot :) Very cool!

  • Actually Bill and Brenda met several years prior to Courtship. They filmed a pilot for Screen Gems in 1966, which I own. They also did an epsiode of "Search" together prior to Courtship. Hulk was filmed in 1979 when they were seperated and televised in 1980 when they were divorced. I am a huge Brenda fan and have most of her episodic and film work. Unfortunatley not much from Days of our lives.

  • I remember reading recently that Bill and Brenda were good friends for many years prior to them getting hitched after Brenda divorced Paul Peterson. Thank you for clarifying.

  • @mitch6225 'Search'...? Wasn't that a short lived Hugh O'Brian(& Doug McClure...) show about operatives of an organization called 'PROBE'?

  • Great vid, well done AGAIN!

It's sad how good chemistry can go bad! Such tragic lives, yet both so talented.

More Bix vid's please, could we maybe have happy ones? XX

  • Hi elspings, thanks so much! It is very likely I will make more Bix vids, seeing as how I am obsessed with them right now:) I would LOVE to make all happy ones but see the problem is the clips that I have to work with. He is mostly serious or somber in Hulk and Magician. Hopefully I'll have more stuff to work with soon. Thanks again for watching and commenting, I appreciate it:)

  • Thank you for watching and commenting :)

  • Lord,

Thank you. I watched every episode of "My favorite martian" and "Hulk" so Bill was a constant figure of my childhood. Recently, I learned the many, many tragedies that ocurred in his life, and now, I found this video with one of my favorite songs from Keane which seems so appropiate for him.

    R.I.P. Bill

    Thanks again Lord.

  • Excellent video...and I think I really get the message. Bill and Brenda were already divorced when they made this episode, but Bill wanted to do this to show his son that his parents *can* get along. There are Many layers here, know what I mean? Great clips and timing! G.

  • Thanks a bunch! Actually I didn't know they were already divorced here...thought they were on the verge. I understand their marriage was rocky for some time. Well, gosh, that seems pretty awkward if they were already divorced. Have you seen the Courtship episode that Brenda was in? (Think she might have been in two actually), they were so cute together.

  • Ya know, you could be right..on the verge, hum. I thought it was terribly awkward to know that. I never saw CEF except for everyone's clips, I'll be getting it soon. :)

  • I didn't realize this was Keane, they may terrific music!!! I was planning to make a David Banner/Hulk video with one of their songs eventually. I'm gonna buy this one on I-Tunes.:) Thanks.

  • Yeah, I love Keane too. Hmm, you might want to take a listen to Try Again...it's kinda Dr. David Bannery/Hulky in some ways. :)

  • Courtship was where they met.
