  • It seems like it was hard to smile with all here medical problems, than her longing for a baby and then a husband who couldnt keep his penis out of woman including her sister. She stated time and time again she was lonely.

  • in all her self-portait pantings she has never smiled. all her panitings are the portraits of a deeply sad woman who is lonely too. she must have dealt with a painful depression and loneliness all her life. her artworks cannot be about happiness, and that is why they're so interesting, because life is mainly sad.

  • i love her paintings, i wish i can paint like her

  • Wow I never knew what an amazing artist this woman was! Love her, especially the two fridas painting. It looks like shes turning to herself for comfrot and companionship, to aid her loneliness and death

  • @neptuniumforest I love your analogy about "The two Fridas" painting.

  • wonderful biography

  • What an incredible face. Nothing like it. Salma Hayek looked ridiculous trying to play her.

  • @conewells Who would have been a better Frida? Even though it was a bad narrative, at least the story was told...a little inaccurately, but it got people looking at Frida once, again and forever!

  • @FrankHerban I agree.

  • A FEW SMALL NIPS!!!
