I thought you found some engrish, but that's pretty hardcore. Wow it's really the first time I've ever seen a portable tent toilet lol. I thought camping sites in Japan had all those there?
Using the bathroom in nature is refreshing. I haven't done it in years because I haven't been camping in a long time. I like to think of it as going back to nature, we didn't always have toilets!
Hmm... so, instead of taking care of the waste properly in the wilderness, which would involve digging a latrine and then filling the latrine when done (which is good for the little bugs in the dirt and for plants on the surface), people are going to drag that weight home, burning more gas, and then flush it in their toilets using water, and then wash out the basin, using more water, not to mention the pollutants created during the manufacture of the toilet. Where's the eco-friendliness, again?
i respect all the whys & what nots behind the vests and toilet but still...it left me going (0.o) cause dogs have this natural instinct to do their little doggy paddle and the guy was standing in hip waist water and bodily wastes will just take care of itself out in the wild.
but yeah...props to the guy for thinking of safety & environment. XD
Wow, Japan's country side really looks beautiful. I like the outdoors but I'm always terrified of bear or mountain lion attack lol. I'm not sure but I think japan has fewer large predators *researching*
i assume that those people earn enough money to buy and bring all this stuff with them. i mean if you're used to live in a big city, and maybe you're a litte bit spoiled, you don't want to do your business in the woods and live like a bum. in fact a lot of city-people wouldn't survive a day out in the woods, they just lost touch with nature and it's normal to be afraid of the things you don't know.
i can't imagine this to be the usual japanese camping sight tho, but maybe i'm wrong.
Awesome!

So being safe is wrong? Not everyone has to be unsafe white trash when they camp.

@akira117 and not everybody has to be a tree hugging liberal dicksuck either.

A couple of luxuries here and there, but that's natural as time progresses and technology becomes better/more portable.
I wouldn't doubt if camping 50 years from now means taking a small apartment out into the woods with you =P.
Thanks for sharing this!

Makes me think of 'Capsule Corp.' from Dragon Ball.
Press the button and *poof* giant object appears, and in this case, a small apartment! :D

Lol @ toilet.
I just went camping, we had none of that fancy stuff. Just a tent, sleeping bag, fresh cloths, and food.
