  • Very informative. Thank you

  • Hello, my name is Amy. I am a 36 year old female. I had the gastric sleeve op done last Thursday June 17th, 2011. I had the lap band in since 2008 but had nothing but problems with that, so had to have it taken out and then found out 2 weeks before surgery I had gallstones so I had to have my gallbladder out. Just wondering how you are doing now?

  • Thanks for the video...very informative. I'm scheduled to have my surgery in about a week and I'm really excited. You have given a lot of info in your video and I do appreciate that.

  • I appreciate you posting this, I weigh 333 lbs and can't loose anything. In fact the 333 lbs is because I had gained 11 lbs since my last visit to my DR. I do have Hypothyroid so It is harder for me to loose weight than a normal person, but im tired of struggling. I excersize and eat right. Anyways your video has given me the courage I need to not be afraid to ask the surgeon im going to go see. My husband is in the army so it will be difficult for me to be approved for it. I can only pray.

  • My name is Herb and I live in Arkansas. I had my sleeve 3 days ago. I lost 60 lbs on my own before the sleeve. I am now 6'1 and 395 lbs. Only had to stay for 1 day in the hospital. Nausea is already under control and pain is bearable. 2 weeks of liquids for me too. The best way i can get my proteins down is to use a medicine cup, sip slowly and room temp. U inspired me to start my own Vlog. So look out folks the big man is on his way down. BredWar

  • That's so cool that you made it a family thing :-) I just found your videos. I'm looking forward to watching more videos from you!

  • Good job for your whole family. It must be a great feeling to have so much support and your parents will totally understand what you are going through since they are doing the same.

Good luck to all three of you.

  • I'm having the sleeve tomorrow!

  • Wow, thank you for posting this very informative video. I really appreciate all of this information. I will be having the same surgery soon.... can't wait. Keep up the great work. You are adorable :)

  • I'm really glad it helped. :) Thats what its there for. if you have anymore questions let me know i'll be happy to help any way i can. *smiles* Thanks for watching and I hope the best with your surgery!

  • Could you explain how you were able to afford 3 people in your family getting the surgery on the same day? Does your insurance pay (and, if so, what is your company)? I definitely want to get the VSG, but my insurance won't pay for that particular procedure (although will pay for RNY and band). I feel the VSG is superior and is the one for me, so I will be forced to self-pay. Looking at going overseas because the cost is so much more doable. Thanks, Mallory. My name is Ginger.

  • Good for you girl! I will do the same surgery in a month.

Keep going!!! In a few months you will not believe the new YOU!

    DONT'T GIVE UP...
