I just picked up a Vectrex and 6 games at a yard sale yesterday but that game wasnt in the bunch :0(

I got the Vectrex with manual's(No box) and 6 boxed games,all the overlay's ect.. and 2 perfect controllers for $5.00!

I about crapped my pants when I saw it and felt bad the woman didnt know what she had when I paid for it but she was happy and I was having a heart attack the whole time until I got it in my car LOL!!

I always loved how the vector graphics allowed for slight variations in the graphics, like how your vac grows in size... you'd need a whole progression of sprites to do that on a normal system, something most systems couldn't handle at the time... allows for way better animation too... they should've made cartoons you could watch on the vectrex... gameboy video my ass, lol.

Dms12444: I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday. It's not the game that matters. It's only eye candy. One of the reasons I think people go away from the Wii other than being lazy. Because it doesn't look remotely real all of the time, they ALWAYS hate the games even when they have AWESOME storylines.

If what they see is what they like, they go research more. Looking up videos and reviews. It is the graphics that first gets the gamer through the door. Its essentially what sells the games. A gamer can't "see" the gameplay or music and ect unless he goes and buys the game. Then the company gets money..

Another one of my original Vectrex games I've been playing for over 20-something years. Actually, I played this BEFORE ever playing (Ms.) Pac-Man. Anytime someone says "clean sweep," I think of this game. After L-9 (getting only eight dots at a time starting in L-7), it'll be L-∞. I remember doing this with over 63,000 points. Tough but fun play.

I had an Vectrex as a kid with this an many more titles. In those days a Vectrex console was pretty high-end thing to actually own. There were a couple of video-arcade places were you could rent one, but I didn't know anyone else who actually owned one. One of the first gaming systems that had an analog controller. Those vector graphics were amazing back then with the colorful overlays.

When thinking about it, this game makes more sense than Pacman. The enemies are bigger than your character and are biting, which kills you. In Pacman, the ghosts are equally big as Pacman and they don't have a big chopping mouth like Pacman, so how do they fuck him up?
