People have chosen to look at all of the negative aspects of Islam unfortunately....

There are many good Muslims and are decent law abiding citizens, you'll usually find that this demonization, as Livingstone mentioned, is predominantly in scaremongering tabloids like The Sun or The Daily Star, read by the majority working class who come to the conclusion 'Its in the papers so it must be true', it takes someone educated enough to see the person to not judge them on their religion...

Islam is NOT a "MALE CULT" as you put in. In Islam both men and women have rights. In an Islamic home, men are the shepherds and the women are the flock and actually cook for their husbands.
