It always amazes me how they could take low key ballads or mid-tempo songs and ROCK the **** out of them. Larry - as usual - usually looks one degree short of exploding. To play such raw driving guitar, dance infectiously, AND sing high harmony all at the same time! WOW!!!!
@spacepatrolman Isn't it interesting how photography and films is like like time Travel? We get to see how people lived, dressed & expressed themselves & we're able to experience their feelings as if the were living in the present...Thanks for your feedback on my comment..Peace Via Music, Love & a smile....VIVA MARIA!
@John1948ThreeA Wikipedia says they started appearing on Town Hall Party in 1954, and then starred on Ranch Party from '56 to '59. But this certainly sounds like it would've been later than '56, so maybe they continued to appear on both shows. I don't know.
It was a big hit by the Everly Brothers. Judging from the other Collins Kids videos I've seen on YouTube, it looks like they often performed other artsts' then-current hits on T.V. shows. In fact, the only time I ever heard of them prior to July 2008 was when they sang someone else's 1965 hit, possibly "Like a Rolling Stone" (Bob Dylan), on "Shindig!" on Sept. 8 of that year.

If you notice when she is being introduced, on the back wall, over the MC's right shoulder is the Town Hall Party Logo.

@yetisandjung The Everly brothers originally recorded it in 1958 so this performance was probably also 1958 - maybe 1959.

Problems Problems was a big hit? This is the fist time I've ever heard it.
Check out the guy in the plaid shirt on the left side of the video at 1:53 . I don't think you could pay me enough to wear that outfit.
