  • She looks very healthy!

  • Property tax?

  • This was a very beautifully done video, and the setting of where she stays at is wonderful.

  • she is hairy and sexy

  • Her lifestyle makes sense, but what does she do when there is a hurricane?

  • i was a mariner for many years and i always enjoyed a good sun set also got caught up in sun gazing used to watch planets cross in front of the sun very hard to see but visible. i used to try and see the green flash what a natural wonder when you finally see one. you have a nice life style i always wanted to live in Costa Rica.

  • Amy, thank you for the generous amount of information and providing a window on your lifestyle. Question, do you have a website dicpicting the usefullness of Costa Rica's medicinal plants/trees?

  • @MorpheusBride I can't answer for her, but if you're actually looking into it I've seen many people use sea sponges, which work like a "natural tampon". Again, I'm not sure what technique she uses, just trying to be helpful! :-)

  • How does she handle menstruation? I am asking this sincerely.

  • This woman knows how to communicate and receive knowledge from the Earth and the Universe and she is doing a very good job of articulating it in spoken language. What a beautiful person and a compassionate seer.

  • she seems a bit nutty but i like the way she lives !!

  • This woman is amazing. I think I am in love with her.

  • Gorgeous, gorgeous views!

  • hhaha she poops

  • So beautiful, what a lovely lady.

  • eating fruits, vegetables and little red meat and more fish is the best way to eat

  • @juki0h

red meat?? fish?? ewww!!!! just fruits and veggies for me

  • Wheres the 4G service?

  • Wheres the toilet? Wheres the toilet paper?

  • I wish and dream of a place like this for my 3 year old son and I to live! If I had the oppurtunity to leave my entire life behind, I would pick up and go in a heartbeat! This is my dream! To live off the land and to feel alive is what i dream to do one day. I erne for this way of life everyday. I can feel the pollution of this industrial society I am trapped in! I hope to connect with the right resource one day, and to have the privilege to experience this way of living forever.

  • I wonder where the money for all this came from?

  • my dream is when i will be older i want to go to a jungle and live free! lol

  • It's obvious that she is deeply satisfied. I'm happy for her. I too toy with the idea of moving to the tropics ever since i started the fruitarian diet, which is only a few weeks now but i felt it from the first day. Very inspiring to see her make it happen ;D

  • im confuses in the other vid there was a building in the back what was that ???? it looked like a normal sheltered building to me!!!!!

  • She is very interesting. What is her email address? Is she alone or does she have a partner with her?

  • One of the most fascinating videos I've ever seen. She should be a real estate agent in that area cause I am sold. I was wondering the whole time where the showers/toilet were because I noticed how clean she looked.... my, my, she is truly living in sync with her surroundings.

  • Nearly brought to tears by your open generous sharing. How many of us, through our own life experiences and intuitive sense, must relate to what you express and how you are living. If I did not have my many felines, I would do thus. Smiling. I have about as many belongings as you do! So gorgeous - your shed. Your sharing nature, physicality, spiritual "presence" - these are a testament to your life choices...per my perception. Again, thank you.

  • Damn, I think I'm in love!!

  • I would certainly like to join her ;)

  • Amy's gorgeous.....

  • @lostdiva79 I had plantar fasciitis. My husband took his thumb and dug it INTO my foot and it about made me pass out, but he dug it in real good and got that "knot" out. Then he stretched my foot and massaged it. I have NOT had pain after he did that. You need to work out that scar tissue and stretch it out. Be very aggressive with it. You can walk barefoot again. I have been pain free from plantar fasciitis for over a year now. It has never come back.

  • @Ineedmorelives Thank you for your email ! I will try this !

  • The answer to all things is simplicity, not complexity. - Dick Gregory

  • she made the comment that native americans said that those who wear shoes will go crazy thats totally not true we wore many different types of shoes the most common would be the moccasin of north america and those shoes were always made from nature, im native american and many of the things she says are good or ok but alot she is off on too, and she cant recommend that everyone lives like her its not possible for all and not smart for all but many could live more in harmony

  • I really appreciate this for everything it is. I think if the arguing would stop, everyone would realize that there are many helpful tips here on how to elongate one's life and remove ourselves from the cycle that pharmaceutical, insurance, food, and medical companies have woven us into. Even if u choose not to live completely natural, there are important things and messages to learn from Amy. One love, blessings, more life and happiness to everyone.

  • It's good to see people who find this lifestyle appealing. One of the things I appreciate is that she doesn't really say anything that belittles anyone else's Ideals, it's simply what "SHE" feels. What people need to realize is that this isn't hard to do, you don't even need to give up things like electricity, gas, water, ect. Do your research people, it's not about being green, it's not about being one with nature, it's simply freedom from a society that want's to tell you how to live your life

  • In regards to her comments about vision. About 6 years ago I made some lifestyle changes, by no means were they drastic, just meditation and improved diet (no processed foods, no meats, funk food, etc). I quit smoking and renewed my love of running. That year I got my eyes tested and was told my eye site had improved. He couldnt understand it. But I knew instictively that the changes I made were the ony reason possible. Thank you for these videos! I need to get back on track.

  • I meant to say junk food heheh

  • I appreciate anybodies point of view and comment here but only if you keep your "insulting language” to your self. We are building a new world through this information and you or come along with us, or stay behind.

It is all about growing fellow “Youtuber”

  • @veggievibes what the hell is a person that lives with no internet using youtube?

  • My friend, It is clear that you have a lot of anger in you. Only because you can not wrap your head around a more natural lifestyle does not mean it is not possible. She is well know in her village for living this way. That she has a cell phone and a light bulb going are not signs of "faking it"

  • This woman is form North America with ancestry from Europe....if she is lucky the Mediterranean. How many cultures throughout history have lived like this? Everyone needs shelter, everyone needs food. Everyone has always needed work to receive food reward. this has never been how humans have ever lived. Whosever video this is, Im sorry this is my third comment. Its just that she is so full of shit.

  • @tsferg the ancient vedic cultures did infact live much like this a long time ago. before the first genetically modified apple was grafted from a tree and did a number on us. same in ancient russia

  • @eojadiius Russians lived like this? In what area of Russia could you lie around outdoors and survive? India you can lie around all day, but the community still has to work to get food and create shelters

  • @tsferg if you are interested. just look up ancient vedas, or even ancient chinese traditions, we were once before prominent permeculturist's and still are, but even more so, a very very very long time ago.

  • @tsferg the earth was not the same it is today, remember it was much more tropical all over in its distant past.,abundant. on top of that, everything we needed were more readily available as the soils, air, were not tainted by pollution. even the air would have smelt delicious and fed us more, as there were no technological atrocities stuffing it.. imagine the amount of oxygen back then, would have been paradise!

  • @eojadiius The earth was more tropical in the distant past, but not while we were on it. The distant past word you are describing is a fantasy world. It never happened. Much l;ike how this woman is living in a fantasy world of making money in the US, taking advantage of cheap land in other countries, taking advantage of cheap labor, and then calling it a throwback lifestyle to a time that never existed.

  • @eojadiius "even the air would have smelt delicious and fed us more" Air does not feed, and our lifespans have been getting longer and longer with every passing generation (which may get smaller due to obesity this generation). "imagine the amount of oxygen back then" The oxygen levels in our current air is around 20% and the human body only requires 16% levels....Its fine now. Get out of whatever major city you live in.

  • @tsferg the native tribes do not 'work' in order to receive food reward, they simply enjoy, the food is something that comes along with the happiness.

  • @eojadiius What are you talking about? Tribes dont have to work to get food rewards? Do they just get it by lying around and doing yoga?

  • This idiot feels shes receiving as much food through her skin as she is from bananas? How dumb is she?

  • This woman is full of shit. She has electricity and a cell phone. She has enough money to have workers come and work her land. Pituitary and pineal glands have plenty of function. You don't need to make shit up! The land massages the curves of your feet? How does anyone listen to this flake?

  • FYI, bags under the eyes are more common in women, due to a natural lack of iron. this can be helped/resolved through a high intake of beans; which are high in iron. :)

  • I think she is on the right path. So much information you get by living directly with nature. If I had the choice to live like this I would.

Society as a whole has moved almost completely away from growing food. We think we're so fuckin' clever. But living alongside nature growing food and living within the cycle of nature would be a great experience. To have moved totally away from nature is just wrong. She is a bright woman. She is lucky to have had the choice.

  • eating & drinking mostly liquid?? I wonder what effects that would have on the bowl movements??

  • There is nothing to buy here my friend. That "house" is a shed that has all her fruit stored in it (mostly bananas). Her clothing, personal items and a sink with water. If a major storm hits the area , yeah she then puts her tent in there....it ain't her house with furniture and trinkets.

  • There's a house behind her.. lol she says her 'open air' pavilion is her house. I don't buy it

  • Who R the WE and THEY in the vid?And she';s a naturalist,Y use the glove and knife? Also HUMANURE is NOT to B eaten by humans as it's not the same as cow dung. And is toxic to humans,so she should dig a hole. And saw she does have plastic bens. They too don't decompose over time,so she's not a 100% naturalist after all.Plus has a phone and computer.Tarzan wouldn't need those,he'd swing thru the trees to travel...........................

  • @zolumpus Forgot, she also has many brown spots on her face, neck, shoulders, etc.Melanoma or something else maybe?Should have them looked at. I myself,am glad I wasn't born in the good old days.I like being comfy in my air conditioning etc,and switches to be comfortable so I can make a shake or smoothy.

  • There's probably a tarantula living under that meditation table.

  • amazing.. I'm learning so much from this. Thank you for sharing:)

  • a big HUG for this amazing soul

  • take me with you dear woman, that is what i call heaven on eart

  • like that: i wanne live! ohterwise i go joker loool

  • There seems to be a house behind her with the glass she says is not permitted. She looks farely good, and she looks like the average vegan/live foodist; somewhat malnourished, especially after living a life of eating food that is not good for you, to just eating fruit and some greens, as she said. Being a vegan requires A LOT variety. The way she explains her diet, she will at some point become very ill. Green foods contain the nutrients that all living organism need and she "spits out".

  • Is it not sad that what she is describing is simply how people lived for thousands of years, yet it sounds so foreign to us? It sounds true, too. Will people return to this life? It is our oldest legend and our greatest hope.

  • Blessings to the most high. Thank you for this video.

  • Your vlog has gone exactly to the root of my home and where I need to be. Keep up the wonderful spirit living.

  • Your vlog has gone exactly to the root of my home and where I need to be. Keep up the wonderful spirit living.

  • Thank you, I enjoyed this. She is a lovely lady. I have many questions! Does she live alone there? What other fruits do they grow?

  • The only question is does she have antivenom from local posinious snakes or animals since she is barefoot she could be struck very easily.

  • Packing the bags, loading up the animal kids -:) How inspiring is this !

  • Here in New Zealand we don't have any of those fruits you guys are eating. I'm vegetarian also and like to feel the earth under my feet. Do you rely on companion planting?

It makes me sad, but the world has little regard for people like yourselves, instead politics and wealth seems to dominate our lives.

  • I would be scared to live like that! LOL

I could farm and apply permaculture but sleeping outside, oh man.

  • @islandmamma

    BUGS!!!! Yuck

  • I really admire Amy's lifestyle, but I have a couple of questions about it. Does she have a satellite phone or some way to communicate with the outside world? I mean what would she do if she got a snakebite or had an accident with a machete and had to get to a hospital? Also do dangerous wild animals (predators) ever wander into the compound and if so, how does Amy protect herself?

  • How does she make money?

  • That my friend I do not know. Life in Costa rica is relatively cheap, especially her lifestyle. She has no electric or water bills. Fruit is very cheap

  • @veggievibes you asked many questions about how she lives except how she gets money. I find it hard to believe. First of all, she probably wasn't born in costa rica. Second, she never states that she made all of them structures throughout her property. Sounds to me like she was wealthy before she moved there. That property isn't CHEAP! I wouldn't be surprised if a book deal or something along those lines were motivation to pursue this way of life

  • @urbanburglary Don't think she needs, locals would sponsor her small needs

  • @urbanburglary Your tax dollars.

  • @urbanburglary who wouldn't wanne eat her stuff, it's heavenly

  • Why does she have bags underneath her eyes? A raw foodist shouldnt have them.

  • That is not true unfortunately. There are several reasons for people to have bags under there eyes. Mostly it is hereditary. When we age the elasticity of our skin goes down, so we are more susceptible to these darn bags.

  • @veggievibes But aging should become a very slow process if we are living a natural lifestyle. The body heals and aging as we know it is not a natural process.

  • @guploo You don't get everything you need being a 'raw foodist'.

  • @guploo dumbest comment ive ever seen

  • @guploo pot smoking

  • @RawVeganMichele

    this is also my dream!

  • WOW what an inspiration i would love to spend some time with this woman some day. is she online at all?

  • You can visit her when in Costa Rica. She has a e-mail like everybody else but she is almost never on line

  • @veggievibes What's her email?

  • @veggievibes Any problems with wild animals?

  • @RawVeganMichele - I second that! Great inspiration!

  • This is amazing! I want to live this way!

  • How does she not get eaten alive by bugs...??

I also wonder if she is lonely...

  • How does she not get eaten alive by bugs...??

I also wonder if she is lonely... she is all alone there...

  • She has to mow the grass because it gets too high and snakes like that too much.

She has a machette, they use that to keep it short, no machines, keeps ye fit!

  • I do not understand why she mows the grass?

    Where is the lawn mower?
