Another memorial day and now at least a thousand troops dead in Afghanistan.

Nice montage. We usually wear a poppy on memorial day which represents the blood spilts in battle. Poppys in European legend grew from the blood spilt from a killing. I don't think memorial day was ever meant to be war mongering or promoting war, but rather remembering those that were sacrificed for the sake of war, for better or worse. I mean, they have to obey orders. Many of them are from 18-21 years of age which makes their deaths even more sad.
