Just watched the movie An Education and this song blew me away!!!! I couldn't wait to find out who sang it, so I watched the credits at the end. I thought ,this sounds a bit like Amy Winehouse, but better than Amy. I am so excited I found out about Duffy, she's fabulous.

wow it was the only movie that made me want to study SO hard so that I will success leave from Greece where I live and go study in England, a very hard thing for the finnancial situation of my country. So when the movie finished, I just opened my glossar and started learning difficult words.

I really hate accient greek, but schools demand it. I will study it too, like jenny studied Latin. I want to be a chemist and live in England. And I will do it. Thank you for inspiring me in that way!:D

@cpo2u that's exactly how i felt. when duffy made it big a few years ago, i was like, "why all the fuss? this stuff is awful," but then i watched an education and the melody and atmosphere of the song is perfect for the film's ending. i'm still not completely sold on her voice, but i like the mood of the song, if that makes sense...

@FutureNo1Pick You're not from the UK, I would guess. Duffy is a Welsh singer, whose most famous song is probably Mercy. I find a lot of her material rather annoying, including Mercy, but this is brilliant, and so is Warwick Avenue, a lovely song.
