I have both a savage and a traxxas and my savage has a completly new engine that let's it go 45. The traxxas stock goes 45 and my moded one goes 55. I say that savage is made for endurance and traxxas is made for speed.

funny that i used to have a savage and it burned because the tank broke and fuel splashed all over and a spark had formed somewhere and set the nitro alight. it was sad cos it was summer and by the time i had run up to the car it was properly on fire. i had nothing to put the blaze out with. rip savage. funny how it happened but it was just really unfortunate. this is obviously delibrate cos my car was a wreck after i watched it burn for 20 mins and finally put it out. rip savage

I just did a video of my car running and the when I move the carb it is right on with the sound. We are looking at the whole truck while it is running so even if the smoke was escaping from somewhere else we would see it.
