ROFL! Worked there 5 years and the things they put me through! They have a very high driver turnover. Very driver unfriendly. You go girl! I laughed outloud when I saw your video. These abusers need to be outed. This OTR industry needs reform and some driver protections put into place so they can't strand drivers, hold their stuff hostage and blackball them with false DAC reports.

I have a co-worker who was just layed off with over 23 years of drivng experience. He has owned his own truck and has driven over the road. But get this, because the last 12 months, he has driven a daycab tractor and been home at night, Heartland Express said he is not qualified. We run relays out and back and drive around 600 miles on the road per day, but Heartland will not hire him. what is up with that thinking?

I had a simular experiance with USxpress. I had to have my wife drive from Lorain, Ohio to Joliet, IL.

I am currently looking for a driving job.. lol.. Sadly.

I enjoyed your video but I have a friend who drives for Heartland and he does alright. I hope everyting works out for you. I drove for CRST,things didn't work out and I moved on. When I see a CRST truck I have nothing but good things to say about the company. What I'm trying to say is that what ever trucking company that you're with now there's someone that has had a bad experience there. I drive for JB Hunt, I know. p.s. You have 21 yrs exp. USE IT . Sounds like your problem is the choice of company's you pick, I drive for Melton running Flatebed, I have been nothing but happy, they really take care of you, the money is good the freight is good, if you are sittingm they dont keep you there, the deadhead you however far it takes to get you loaded. a real family oriented company

Good for you, Brenda! And it's a good warning to anyone who would consider Heartless Express to work for....now, perhaps, they'll look elsewhere! And US Xpress must be related to Heartless. I took the Greyhound bus out to OH for their orientation, and they did NOT PAY MY FARE BACK TO NJ!!! Thank GOD I had enough left on my credit card to get home, otherwise, I would have been hitchiking from OH to NJ!

That's exactly why I came off of the road. It's hard to find any of these companies that care about a driver as a person. If I do drive again, it will be a truck that I own and bring home to my house every other night if not every night.

There is nothing wrong with venting Ms. Brenda. The trucking industry can be rough and for the most part we are just a truck number to them anyway. Truckers are real people with feelings and needs and sometimes the people behind the desk seem to lose sight of that.
