My biggest issue is that the magnetic poles have moved but not the true poles, the axis where the earth spins at.

The magnetic poles are always on the move. In the last 100 years the magnetic north pole has moved over 200 miles. If the magnetic poles flipped, as they have hundreds of times in human history, there would be no noticeable difference other than on our compasses.

There would be no climatic differences. No shift in the world's tilt or orbit!!!

Yes I remember when I was little they said that doomsday would happen in 1989, 1995, 1996, 1999 1-1-2000, 6-6-2006. Did we ever learn from these supposed dates that have now been proven false. 2012 is just an incision in their calendar, completing a full (mathematical) cycle. But beyond that, the mayan prophecies predict "business as usual" for 2013 and thereafter. It's just hteir calendar starting over at count 1, not the world. The mayans themselves thought it a date to celebrate (a kind of big new years eve).

But fact is, that according to Mayan mythology the successful completion of a complete calendar-cycle (either cycle, be it the short ones like the tzolk'in or one of the longer ones like the B'ak'tun of roughly 395 solar years) was not a thing to fear. Read e.g. wikipedia: "for the ancient Maya, it was a huge celebration to make it to the end of a whole cycle".
