Didn't Jesus say in Luke 17:21 "Neither will people be saying "see here" or, "there". For look the kingdom of god is in your midst" Jesus said "is in your midst" not "was" or "going to be". Doesnot it mean then that the Kingdom is already here.

Anyone who genuinely follows the 2 commandmnets Jesus gave will experience the kingdom now. Because when you have love you dominate over everything and experience the Kingdom.

@isaacpvful No--he's not way off. If the Kingdom is here, why would Jesus teach his disciples to pray, Come, Thy Kingdom? He told others that they were FAR from the Kingdom. Jesus' message was Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand". The Kingdom (gov. of God) is within you was to the Apostles, not the masses. Love is not a prerequisite for dominion. Kings/queens have it because they have position, rank, responsibilty, and authority, not because they love. Can't find scripture for this logic

@Bishop4Real Bishop4real- Jesus said to pray, because a lot of people don't have the Kingdom in them, so we are suppose to permeate the Kingdom culture back on planet earth. In Isaiah 9;11 it says of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end. which means His Kingdom is still expanding and will continue to expand until it takes over the whole world. So some people don't have or know about the Kingdom revelation, so prayer is us giving God licence to bring IT back on earth

Re-li-gion: Something one believes in and follows devotedly; You can have religion about anything. This message does not take away from the word of God but actually is about the foundation and message of the bible-The Kingdom. The only people who ever persecuted Jesus was...religious people. We follow too much after our religions and not after Jesus himself. Would we today cast Jesus aside because he didn't fit our church traditions or denominational doctrine? The pharisees did.

It is very sad how something as beautiful as the Christian faith can be horribly misrepresented, because of religious zeal; meaning fanaticism. It is a very good thing that we have religion, but to realize that apart from the importance of the assembly of believers we must have a personal relationship with God through Christ Jesus. We are free agents as we are individuals, hence some people make bad choices in the name of religion.

Christianity has become a RELIGION!!! There's muslims and different religions that call themselves "christian". Also, there's "christian" ministers that condone gays and even MARRY them!!!

@alexross8 There are accounts in the Old Testament of the Israelite army being commanded by God to destroy entire towns--their soldiers, woman, children, and even babies. Although most Christians today don't look to the OT for religious instruction (except the 10 commandments), if a zealous group of Christians thought certain passages from the OT still applied today, then we'd have "Christian" jihadist's doing very terrible and violent things to non-believers.
