I agree. Learning the kick jerk or even the split jerk would serve hollands well. However, it may be possible that he lacks necessary explosive qualities in his legs to jerk weights this big. A lot of strongmen are great on limit strength, yet still not quite as explosive as Koklyaev for instance.
I think I got plenty enough leg drive to be able to drop under it if I was technically good enough! If you watch the video the bar is WAY clear of my head before the arms come into play!! I unfortunately do not have coaches available to teach me how to Jerk so I have to make do with what I have
I watched the video again and I agree. With a sufficiently deep dip you should be able to jerk it easily and thus stress the triceps a lot less. Getting a good coach who understands the differences in jerking a bar, an axle and a log would be ideal, but I would still say that it would be worth your while to practice by yourself if that isn't an option. You'll also get even more leg drive once you start pressing with the bar resting on your chest rather than sitting in your hands above the chest

I'll also take this opportunity to say that it was a privilege to watch you compete in gothemburg two weeks ago. You're one impressive guy!

@terryhollands
For the love of Satan, if it's only a matter of finding a coach: get on it !
You can probably find quite a few qualified individuals willing to give you a few lessons on honing your technique for free.
