If I made over $65 an hour to repair computer problems I would tell people to buy a PC. I would have more work than I could handle. The average Service Call time for Windows XP is about three hours and Microsoft charges $35 for each problem that they solve. You do the math. Computer shops that tout Windows are ripping off the consumer and you monkeys don't seem to notice. OUCH!

I would love to know just how many ignorant people on here have actually used a mac. Eleven years of PC frustrations, it just two weeks from my first time experience of using mac was when I made the switch and placed my order. They're fantastic machines, the rest are playing catch up.

pcs in many ways have caught up and overtsken and are a mile infront. i write music on a pc and about 75 percent of music production software comes out either before the mac version or is pc only. about 90 percent of free software is also pc only. u might now have intels but on the whole pcs still have the fastest system specs including graphics.

I have to work on a Mac everyday at school and I always end up having more problems... partially usability, partially networking (it has issues dealing with servers I've found), often it's just a lot less self-explanatory. And many programs just aren't Mac compatible. Security-wise, I think Mac is better, but most other things just drive me nuts! I even like using Photoshop on my PC better. And Safari is just a horrible browser (I use Firefox on both).

Well, PCs do have to do a bunch of stuff but they are well worth it. Also if you know what you are doing the setup is easy. Ths commercial is a smear campaign based on over exgagerated facts that target the non-technical oriented part of the US. Macs also are worse than PCs btw. But custom-built computers rule all.

The only updates your gonna get on a mac, your gonna pay for. PC's work great out of the box, if you get a good brand PC, you get everything you need installed and ready out of the box, without a bunch of extras... if you dont get a good brand you gotta uninstall some shit trial software, but only because its Saving You MONEY!!! Hmm, I have gotten a ton of updates and software for my iMac. So far, the only thing I have paid for was WOW, Call of Duty 2, Medal of honor warchest and Bryce 5.5 (I got Bryce for $20! ^_^)

Plus, i got iLife, which didn't cost anything to get or update.

Plus OSX comes with a trial of iWork AND MS Office. Y'know to give users a choice, So, I chose iWork which costs LESS and is just as powerful.

Did some video editing on them, lots of my clips got corrupted. also when I used photoshop on em they had this irrisistable urge to quite out of the program before I had chance to save.

I like how flexible P.c's are to Macs, and the amount of software out there for P.c's is amazing,you are not FORCED to use programs (like when you get an Ipod, you HAVE to install Itunes)you even have a vast choice of OS's

God, I fucking hate this commercial! PC's aren't hard to put together right out of the box. Just plug everything in, check out the pop up thing that wants you to enter your name/timezone and stuff that can't take longer than 5 minutes and then your good. Erase the trial software? Well, if you wanted to erase if BEFORE taking advantage of the 30 days free or whatever, then again, doesn't take any longer than 5 minutes - if that. Easy peasy.
