could you please send me the pattern to your yo yo tree my email is molliemoo60_09@hotmail.com and my name is sheila and if you could please put what you are sending me so I will know and thank you
@ladybugger51 hello...there isn't a tutorial on how to make the christmas tree but I am going to email you the basic tutorial for how to make yo yo's.... then if you go on youtube and search for "how to join yo yo's mikeyssmail" tutorials for 3 different ways to join them will pop up ..... pick which one you like the best and you will be all set....enjoy...Cathy@mikeyshelpdesk :)
Mikey, I LOVE YOUR TUTORIALS. I really like your idea with the yoyo crochet. My friend and I already have a few ideas on what we are going to use this pattern for. Thanks.
I absolutely adore your tutorials. You have brought me to an entire new level of Crocheting! I can't thank you enough. Please NEVER stop what you're doing! You inspire me to be FABULOUS!
Your enthusiasm is SO infectious! I wish I knew more people as into discovering new techniques and cool new ideas. I've been learning broomstick lace, Tunisian, entrelac, and Bavarian over the past couple of weeks and now, thanks to you, I'm gonna make me a honkin' pile of yoyos! : )
how can i get written instuctions for connecting the yo-yo's also is there another name for this pattern instead of yo-yo I am really excited to try this
Hi Mike - i'm almost done with my HUGE catherine wheel blanket and I have you to thank for it. Thank you for showing me how to do it - I got pretty confused in the beginning but now I got it down pat. Thank you again and keep sharing your ideas and finds with us - if for nothing else, learning to crochet makes the internet worthwhile.
Everytime I get on YouTube I seem to find another great pattern from you (or you've discovered). This would be a great pattern to use for all your scrap pieces! I'm working on a light green and dark green blanket now. I've done 24 full yo-yo's and haven't got bored yet.
A trick I figured out is to do 6 inside light green yo-yo's at a time then switch and connect them all with dark green. It's a speedy way to grow a blanket quickly.
Mikey....are you on facebook or ravelry? I love your videos and I'd love to be "friends". I literally have NO friends to share crochet ideas with. I love being inspired. Thank you for taking the time to teach others. :o) Carol~
I like the yo-yo too. If you can email me the pattern just use the same email that I gave to you for the wavy shell stitch or send me a message and I can give it to you again.
