  • I'm so fucking proud to be mexican!

  • @PaulB9423 i wouldnt be proud to ba spic

  • whats with all the blood pooring out of quezacoatl's mouth...thats abviously not what that statue was for...but they must always make indigenous people look like canibalistic savages............basically to say that : yeah they built all of that but they were still premitive in their thinking.......NEVER BELEIVE EVERYTHING THESE DOCUMENTARIES CLAIM, MUST WATCH WITH A VIGILENT MIND !....

  • this is a pretty good documentary eccept for all that sacrifice shit wich a get bored that all this people always mention they dont focus and the real science ...but it does breakdown some history ...

  • Wait a minute, did he just say we don't know who destroyed Teotihuacan? Who else

besides the Maya would have the ability to destroy Teotihuacan? As far as I know, Tikal certainly had the manpower to destroy Teotihuacan--plus, we know that Tikal was an enemy of Teotihuacan

  • the spanis greatest allie is not mentioned here it was flees ticks and lice........the dirty europeans brought unwillingly the bubonic plauge on themselves their horses and dogs ......the plauge wiped out 70 to 90 percent of all people in ancient america......just like it did in europe.....how is anyone supposed to take this post seriously when the most important of details ore omited??

  • the wars of venus were called THE WAR OF ROSES by the ancients they kept tribes like the toltecs unconquered so they could wage war on them on these special days.....to harvest slaves of war for sacrifice.......

  • the mayas are not extinct they still live in ythe yucatan peninsula they still speak their language,,,,same with aztecs the language and people still exist south of mexico city they still speak nahuatl .....ive met many in michigan they speak spanish english and nahuatl ......dont be brainwashed they are still here although their culture has seen better days......2012 it is believed is when the ancients and their knowledge will return to the world....

  • why do all advance civisations have to come to an end ( all though china and japan are an exception)

  • Good but too much focus on sacrifice. Greeks made human sacrifice but do we ever hear about it? Course not.

  • long enough, anyway, that someone comes along and wipes every last Spaniard off the face of the earth......

  • honey, human sacrifice was one of the biggest reason's the Aztecs fell. it's important to focus on it. they were so hated by their surrounding tribes that Cortes was helped by them to squash the Aztecs.

  • did the greeks sacrifice hundreds of peoples in just a day? i dont think so...

  • @iamthebest91 I know right, Herodotus in his Histories says how Menelaus (Agamemnon's brother and husband of Helen) sacrificed children on the Egyptian coast in order to get better weather and was chased into Libya after getting his wife and stuff back...crazy Greeks

  • @iamthebest91 I would like to inform you that the little knowledge left that we have of the Mayans is there pyramids and stone workings used for human sacrifice. Try writing a paper on the Mayans without having human sacrifice as a large topic. Yes the Greeks and many other classical worlds did this as well but we know a lot more of them then we do of the Mayans. I do not mean this in any way to be rude or offensive I only wanted you to understand why they did this.

  • @leelemonse The europeans didnt do human sacrifice thats understatement but however to make human sacrifice in 16 century and to dont know about wheel is a job of the savages

  • @iamthebest91 Greeks and other Europeans havent practiced human sacrifice......but animal sacrifice yes while they were pagans but in christianity animal sacrifice was never practiced

  • @aimedbm Umm.. burning at the cross? If you’re burning to make the pie in the sky whole or removing a heart to make the sun do something what’s the difference.

  • @Hopeinhumanity Those burnings werent sacrifices for the gods. Those were people that were objected as ereses or better said witches and punished with burning

  • @aimedbm By punish you mean sacrificed. Christianity deemed people committing witchcraft ( likely paganism) to be doing the work of the Devil. For the sake of God's commandments and the kingdom of heaven witches had to be sacrificed. Lasting up until the 18th Century. Fictional History portrays non European ancients as barbarians while ignoring the barbaric acts of the Europeans through fancy language; history is written by the winners.

  • @Hopeinhumanity Punish and sacrifice is not same.Today criminals are punished to be in jail for murders, ruberies selling drugs but they are not sacrificed. Its same as then but different situation(religion involved)anyway niether the sacrifices niether the punishments were good thing

  • i love the Mayas!

  • i think its a good video and i like studying about the mayas

  • i love history and this is the first time im hearing about mexico thanx for postin this god bless

  • how in the hell can you say god bless with a name like that?? goes to show why every war in known history started because of christians....

  • Yep folks, you heard it here. Christians are responsible for every war ever. Even the ones in countries without Christian influence, and especially the wars which pre-date the founding of Christianity. Every war. In known history.

    *scratches head*

  • Not all cristians, but Vaticana and the pope. I am from Bulgaria, here we are Orthodox Cristians. We had wars with vaticana and we won in the past. After that Vatican payed to the Muslims to attack us and they destroyed us. Today our country is broken on many peaces, our nation is half destroyed, by Vaticana. The wars that you talk about, are responsible from Vaticana, not the East Cristians. Never forget that.

  • no, christians are just responsible for the genocide of roughly 100 million Native Americans. This includes 95% of the Natives of North America. You don't have all the blood on your hands, assuming you are christian, but you do have a damn long list of bloodshed. More so than any other religion in the history of the world. If hell exists, every christian alive today and in the past will be burning there forever. How ironic, eh?

  • @subsamadhi actually it was pagan Catholic who caused that not christians

  • @subsamadhi I think you lack a sufficient understanding of history to make such a hateful statement. While you're correct that many atrocities have been carried out in the name of Christianity (as is the case with the other two current monotheistic religions), spreading Christianity was simply a convenient smokescreen for the Imperial Europeans in their quest to expand their empires and find gold. Lumping all Christians into the same category smacks of ignorance and simply makes YOU look worse.

  • @genganz every war known in history did not start as christians. Just because a video says or book doesnt mean you can be certainly sure about it or rely on it.

  • I love hearing of ancient cultures.

  • Awesome stuff, keep posting great programs!
