When most people think of "equality" we naturally interpret it within the parameters of this current society, which is based on the monetary-market system. When money, barter, and competition for market-share are erased from the equation you'll find that equality takes on a whole new meaning completely. Any Zeitgeist film is very interesting and requires an truly open minded person to appreciate the overall message. I think, in the end, a resource based economy is the only viable option.
Also, look how they've used an old man to deliver this message. This is an act of subtle munipulation. By seeing such a person deliver the message, many would be lulled into a false scense of security by the feeling that such an old man couldn't possibly have anything to gain and that he must be genuinely concerned as he doesn't have more than 15-20 years left if he's lucky. The first words to come out of the young bloke's mouth are "de facto" founder. Look that up in the dictionary!

Some people seem to think that Zeitgeist Google is not related to the Zeitgeist movement. If they say they are not connected it is a simply way of bringing attention to the word "ZEITGEIST" so that they can bring attention to the movement without being "associated" with the movement.

There will also be no insentive to hoard belongings so their will be even more availability. Take food for instance... today more calories get rifled into landfills daily than what could feed all the starving in the world (because they can't afford it). The technique of this movie as well as lot of similar stuff speaks the language of american made conspiracy drama. It wants a little bit too much to create an artificial excitement, an end-time-mood, an urge to realize.

Tell me the logistics involved in getting to this state of global governance. Who's going to do the survey? Where is this new government headquarters and who will be making these decisions? They'd be killed on the spot. For me TZM is showing that this economic system is fucked up (which who didn't know) and that there is a solution. It's not the best, but it's far better than this. @TheDarkFenix That's actually what I thought when I first watched Zeitgeist Moving Forward. Machines would gather resources and make buildings. And there would always be an indicator top right-hand corner that indicated your resources, not your funds because if you have machines doing all the work than no wage is needed.
Society is a natural and evolving organism. "Society by design" is an artificial, unnatural order which only evolves at the whim of the "designer." Therein lies the rub. What if religion is at the helm of this so-called "utopian society?" It would be a very bleak "society" indeed. I can't help but feel this there is an underlying preference for a "higher power." This is a little like the Church of Scientology, is it not? Is it not the wetdream of a science fiction writer? Who runs this show?
We're all here, we might as well just share. Our lives are so short anyways, here now, gone so fast. So what does it matter if you don't OWN your land, it's not even yours for long. A world society is no longer possible due to religion. Religion has caused most major conflicts over the past 2000 years and due to that people aren't prepared to forget these conflicts, even if they don't believe in any religion anymore. What religion created cannot be undone.

Go to the global site, (the main one) and on the first page is the national chapters listed, click on them and see if you can find a local chapter near you, get in contact with them and see what they're up to,if it seems fairly inactive, contact the nearest chapter co-ordinator which you should be able to find through the national websites, and communicate with them about what you can do.
well for starters you can help spread the word and tell other people about this or for the more bolder people, make your own event and meetings if there is enough people in a certain place with the same mind. Print out the Zeitgeist Movement orientation guide PDF and hand it it out at your events, Burn DVDs of the movies and hand them out. and if your wondering no we are too young and small as an organization to start putting pressure on the world government or make the RBE a reality...yet
@lukatme2 If you understand the zeitgeist material really well you could try to teach it to others, and if you are not that good at presenting the material orally, you could train on that, (not very spesific, i know) but just trying to give some new advise)

Be an advocate of compassion, collaborate with like-minded people who's eyes are open, be patient with those who have been programmed to keep them shut, but always speak the truth no matter what the society labels you.

Money is a proxy for resources. I would need to know the nuts and bolts of how a "Resource-Based" economy would work before signing onto it. Aside from that, this clip seemed relatively sensible and sane, compared to the other stuff I've seen from the Zeitgeist crowd: "OMG conspiraciez! One World Government! My uncle worked in the world trades as a computers programmer. i heard my grandma talk of a friend of my family that help build the WT he said something was wrong with that.. and i personal seen the cuts like / in the steel

I'm going by the evidence that I've seen from a variety of sources. Look at the video, the buildings aren't falling from the ground level, they start buckling from where the planes hit. The firefighters arrived there *after* the planes hit, they, along with everyone else in America, couldn't have noticed anything until after the planes hit.

@KamidakeRed Have you seen a controlled implosion? Obviously not. Controlled implosions fall from the bottom, the whole building sinks down, starting at the base. This is not what happened on 9/11. The video clearly shows the tops of the buildings, which had been destabilized by the impact, falling onto the bottom parts of the buildings and triggering a collapse from the top down. There weren't any "thermite pools" in the basement. Thermite doesn't come in pools.
@KamidakeRed There aren't "explosions on each floor," if you saw that in the video, you're hallucinating. There was a huge impact coming from the top of the building falling on the parts below it, and that may have looked explosive, but this does not mean that there were charges of thermite on each floor.

What if religion is at the helm of this so-called "utopian society?" It would be a very bleak "society" indeed. I can't help but feel this there is an underlying preference for a "higher power." We're all here, we might as well just share. Our lives are so short anyways, here now, gone so fast. So what does it matter if you don't OWN your land, it's not even yours for long. And for those who complain about a Utopian society… Isn't that what we should be striving for anyway? Shouldn't we want to build a life where our kids can run off to the park, where locking our doors isn't a major concern, where we can be free from our bills and debt to enjoy the people around us?

It's really sad how many people don't get the point. "If we have everything we need, no one will work!" Are you dumb? Let's try this and see how many people get bored. At least in this scenario you can become what you wish. An artist has the time and resources to hone their skills, a teacher has the necessary equipment to properly teach their classrooms, scientists have the freedom to actually better the world, cure diseases without thinking of how much it'll make their bosses.

A world society is no longer possible due to religion. Religion has caused most major conflicts over the past 2000 years and due to that people aren't prepared to forget these conflicts, even if they don't believe in any religion anymore. What religion created cannot be undone.

Whereabouts are you from?
Go to the global site, (the main one) and on the first page is the national chapters listed, click on them and see if you can find a local chapter near you, get in contact with them and see what they're up to,if it seems fairly inactive, contact the nearest chapter co-ordinator which you should be able to find through the national websites, and communicate with them about what you can do.
That should get the ball rolling :)

well for starters you can help spread the word and tell other people about this or for the more bolder people, make your own event and meetings if there is enough people in a certain place with the same mind. Print out the Zeitgeist Movement orientation guide PDF and hand it it out at your events, Burn DVDs of the movies and hand them out. and if your wondering no we are too young and small as an organization to start putting pressure on the world government or make the RBE a reality...yet

The firefighters arrived there *after* the planes hit, they, along with everyone else in America, couldn't have noticed anything until after the planes hit.

@KamidakeRed Have you seen a controlled implosion? Obviously not. Controlled implosions fall from the bottom, the whole building sinks down, starting at the base. This is not what happened on 9/11. The video clearly shows the tops of the buildings, which had been destabilized by the impact, falling onto the bottom parts of the buildings and triggering a collapse from the top down. There weren't any "thermite pools" in the basement. Thermite doesn't come in pools.

There was a huge impact coming from the top of the building falling on the parts below it, and that may have looked explosive, but this does not mean that there were charges of thermite on each floor.
