  • @TaylorInWonderland94 Awesome! You should post it when you are done :)

  • the lid is dificult to make

  • @lilithrozz What would help you understand it better? Is it because it is smaller than the actual coffin box part?

  • @lilithrozz my lid is smaller, i guess it had to be bigger

  • @zperra It does make a good present :)

  • very creative...i made a coffin cabinet with drawers for my lil sister for all her make up...check it out

  • Did you use a special fabric glue?

  • @ChelKate13 I used Aleen's tacky glue. Any type of good crafting glue should hold it. I thought of using fabric glue but decided crafting glue might be better since I also used cardboard. It turned out to be very sturdy :)

  • @GOREgousdEVIL

    Okay ty very much.

  • Ahhh this is soo cool! =]

  • i used this but to make a coffin for my little cousins gothic doll... she gave a big nice hug thanks to you :)

  • @vlogboy209 Aw :)

  • hey GOREgousdEVIL how do u make a backpack coffin?

  • @Gothstarmediumluna Well you would have to cut four small slits in the back. You can get backpack strap-type material at a craft store and just thread it through the slits making a loop, then sew the ends together. That is the most simple thing I can think of. Another way would be to attach some type of hardware to the back (like how I attached the handle), not sure what though. Hope that makes some sense.

  • YAY CREATURE FEATURE!!! :D i like a gorey demise and look to the skies :) XD IT EVEN RHYMES!! HOLY SHIT LOL

  • great tutorial and great choice of music! :>

  • Im going to be making this for my daughter for Halloween so ty very much great video

  • Where can I find a clasp? It's the last thing I need!

  • @LustAxel You can get one at Walmart, if your Walmart has a fabric section. Or you can go to any hobby/craft type shop. I go to JoAnnes.

  • @GOREgousdEVIL Thank you! Again, thanks so much for this project! Best one I've seen!

  • @LustAxel Just use a bit of thin elastic and a button. just get creative and make one...if u can make the purse u can make a clasp

  • awesome videos. my girlfriend can never find a purse cool enough and not to girlie to carry with her. so she just leaves all her stuff in my car. but now (thanks to you :) ) i can get her something she will use every day. thank you for sharing this. by the way, Creature Feature kicks ass.

  • How much fabric will be needed???

  • @McRSAveDMySOuL10 I didn't specify...you just use enough to cover the whole box. It depends on how neatly you wrap it too. Probably just couple feet.

  • What kind of fabric did you use for the inside?

  • @LustAxel

it is a satin type fabric, with a sheen to it

  • What is the name of the song?

  • wow! thats pretty freakin epic! i already made a coffin for me to sleep in but now i can have a purse to match!!! ( yes i made an actual life sized coffin for my bed...) that reminds me if i make another i will make a tutaorial on how to make it... but danke schon for this!!!

  • wow thanks so much for makin this vid its sooo helpful!

  • Cool!

A good use for dodgy satin and velvet skirts that no longer fit. :D

  • Exactly! The black fabric I used was a skirt actually.

  • Very awesome.

I may make one for myself to go w/ my gothic victorian age cosplay costume I'm making for comic-con this april.

  • OMG creature feature!

  • Hey someone gave this comment a thumbs down....whoever you are you suck! :) But anyway, thanks for the comment Darius12235. Creature Feature is F-in awesome, ever see them live?

  • no i live in the middle of europe they dont come there.

  • Well hopefully they will get famous enough to travel.

  • this is freaking amazing!

i just have to make on for myself now.

    thank you for the tut!

  • thats so f*cking creative. it inspired me to pull out some fabric and the old scissors. thnx so much!

  • Creature Feature is ghoulishly fitting for this. Thanks for posting up these videos ;]

  • Yeah I'm a big CF fan.

  • This was sick. I liked it alot, and I think I might try that out for Halloween. ^_^ Cant wait!!!

  • Cool, hope you have fun making it. Halloween is only 4 months away! :)

  • Yeah. ^_^

It should look awesome with any costume I decide to use/make. :)

  • That's very cool. It would make a wicked awesome jewelery box for sure...may have to try it.

  • That is pretty neat.

  • OMG gonna do this now!!! <3

  • wow that is beautiful.I have taken up the art of coffin purse makeing and im not to bad at it.Your videos are vary helpful.Yet,It always comes out a bit of set but its not hard to fix.

  • creature feature! <3

  • Wow that looks great!! thanks for posting the video, i tried to make one for my girlfriend as a b-day gift but it didnt come out so great... anyways thanks for the vid!! very helpful!

  • That's too bad....was there any particular part you had trouble with?

  • yea i wanted to make her a coffin purse with a strap instead of a handle, but i wasnt sure how to put the strap in hand have it sterdy. if you know how that would be much help and much appreciated. if you dont its ok.

  • Oh well I eventually added a handle to mine...what I did was buy some cabinet knobs from Home Depot (they come with little screws). Just pop those into each side of the purse and attach a guitar strap. I could post some pics if you want.

  • oh ok thank you. yea pics would be great!

  • wow! amazing!

  • This a stellar!

And what music is playing? I'm totally head over heels for it!

  • I'm glad you enjoyed it! The song is "Buried Alive" and the second one is "Corpse in my Bed" both by Creature Feature (I listed them in the credits)

  • thank you. thank you!

  • Yes I will! Eventually....I'm very lazy :/

  • Not into your scene, but that is creative and very well done! Congrats.

  • Cool idea (: If I wouldn't already have bought one, I'd try to make one like this ♥

  • that was so amazing!!

I am kinda' poor, and those run pretty expensive already made.

I'm excited I'm going to try to make one when I get paid this week!!

  • thats exectly my problem too!!!i have been raising money for halfe a year to get my platform boots and now i'll be raising money for a while to get my first corset but thnx to her i dont need to worry for the bag part!

  • Lovely! And I'm talking about both you and the purse. Loved your lipstick! Thanks for this amazing idea!!

  • OMG that's so cute. I wanna make a coffin purse now. Even though I'm a dude.

  • very informative tutorial. i was thinking of making a coffin purse for a while but keep putting it off because i didnt think sewing with interfacing would be stiff enough. i wanted mine to zip open and closed but i guess its a trade off for the added strength of cardboard instead of interface

  • Sewing it would be cool :) Im sure it can be done, just wouldn't hold the coffin shape as well I suspect, sure it would still be awesome

  • haha im just really paranoid that if i use a frog closure it will pop open and spill out D:

  • Hmmm....mine has been working pretty good, most of the ones you find are fabric, but I bought a metal one, you can also go to hardware stores and find all kinds of latches

  • you rock that is so awsome!

  • great work !! i have made these for others too.

    love the goth ideal

  • Do you have a myspace?

  • Yes I do :)

  • you are so cute

    i love your hair

    and ur lipstick

i swear xd im gonna make a coffin purse now
