  • is the picture moving..

  • Amazing <3

  • ...wow

  • i don't like them when they stop playing their song

  • Stop fighting and just fucking listen to the music

  • This Such a banger

  • I love this song....AMAZING

  • ...like eating cherries with chocolate ice-cream after sex !

  • Most artists ( not the well established ones) are living on the bread line. Essentially they're self-employed. So yes they make most of their money from playing live and videos but they have to get to that level first. By all means download a track here and there for free but if you enjoy the band. PAY FOR IT

  • Ok think about it. Travelling to performances, venues, food, crew, engineers etc.. all cost money. Venues wont book bands that aren't established. Music Big whigs pay for the advertising, merchandise, and do the good sell to the venues for up and coming artists. If the big companies dont make money who exactly is going to pay in advance for all of this stuff.

  • Too little for them to care? Well, you must have misunderstood something. It's not that we are talking about a few hundred dollars...

Anyway. I don't think it's a crisis, of course people should pay for good music (taking & giving) but personally I think that this situation may forces artists to play more live, which is - what i think - the most important/enjoyable thing. Besides, people should decide themselves, which also includes being aware of the effects.

  • artists, earn the majority of their money from performances and music videos, if they earn't all of their money entirely from music CD's/Itunes then the industry would hand out larger more serious offences. but because they earn so much from performances and music videos, the loss of illegally downloading music for them is too little for them to care.

  • This is different from thier other music, I like. :D

  • This is Delicious love it

  • I do not recognize the vocal ... Is it Oliver ?

  • wow,nice intro

  • clearly the three people who disliked are deaf =L or simply dont know what good music sounds like. =|

  • they are not famous enough!!!

  • Oh, this is absolute perfection.

  • imagine passionately making love to this song xD

  • This song makes me want to come again. :P

  • Awesome song!

  • How ORGASMIC

  • AMAZING!!!

  • yeeeeeeyeyeyeyeeeeeee!!!!

  • ve.ry.good.

  • this track is available free at rcrdlbl.wtf are yall goin about with stealing?

  • love this..

  • It's funny how people pay for shitty songs but for awesomeness like this they resort to illegal ways. Explains why the radio's always playing trash music.

  • i love the way that you just avoid the repeated theme of theft.

if you take something you haven't paid for, you are a thief, it really doesn't get any more simple.

anyway, keep stealing kids. i suppose your ethics and a concept of social awareness and responsibility simply may or may not develop as you get older.

    time will tell.

  • btw, why did you put a capital letter in front of pretentious and self?

you must have had a really bad schooling, is that why you have a shit job now (as you'd stated earlier)?

is that why you steal stuff from young artists? to try and fuck things up for them, because you feel you fucked your life up?

    that's really grim.

tell you what else is grim, the fucking garbage on your channel...you should be utterly ashamed of what is obviously a blatant lack of taste. fucking kill yourself, now.

  • @solheights Oh, more bullshit. . . its a good job that I like this song and i can't be arsed downloading it or i wouldn't be able to read your retarded comments.

O.K..... here we go. "No, something creative, like, something creative" Thank you for that in depth explanation of creativity, really outdone yourself there Sherlock.

As before, I only reply because i like listening to this song.

And, no matter how much you think you are defending independant music, no one gives a shit pal.

  • @solheights Continuing... My schooling is going fine thanks, i hope to enrol at Uni next year on a 4 year course to become a master of Mechanical Engineering, admittedly my job is shit as are all student jobs.

I'm aware I'm not your mate, it was used sarcastically you stupid cunt.

Finally, don't try and call me pathetic, I'm perfectly calm whilst writing (thanks to the XX), whereas obviously your not ("fucking kill yourself") your taking it to far pal - you checked my channel? Ha, sad man!

  • @solheights you're just bitchin at @000aloush000... no need for being that agressive.

What is really important is that the music gets to be known, no matter how...Art is not about how much money you make with it. Sure artist should have reward for their work, and this reward comes in money or simply recognition...it is not such a big deal for you to get so fired up, @solheights...calling people thieves...

  • and grammatical errors aren't really important here on YouTube, I mean, you find people that speak other languages....the important thing is to deliver a message, not that is written perfectly...you are just being annoying saying things like that. It's cool that you care about independent artists but your attitude about it sucks and it's agressive and violent.

  • no, something creative, like, something creative.

    seriously, i'm not your mate.

if my opinions on you being a childish, somewhat ignorant thief, don't mean anything to you, why do you keep responding? not only responding, but getting yourself all worked up, like a little kid?

and thanks! it does make me feel better standing up for independent artists on you-tube! ahahahah

even better that the person i'm having this debate with is a moron, because it makes me feel even more right.

  • Eugh.

    Nothing will beat the original.

  • i dont love it as the other ones :(

  • start paying for music (again) before you crush independent emerging artists entirely.

would you be happy doing your job and not getting paid?

    didn't think so...

  • @solheights YES! WE CANT JUST RELY GIVING MONEY AT THEIR CONCERTS! THERE ARE STUDIO ENGINEERS THAT WORK HARD FOR MAKING THE STUIDO VERSIONS! CMON GUYS.... BE LESS SELFISH. YOURE NOT ALL THAT POOR.

  • @solheights yeah but my job is shit, making music is pretty sweet

  • @000aloush000 you haven't answered my question though have you?

whether you think a job is shit or not is subjective, a shit job to you might be a great job to someone else, or vice versa.

would you feel ok about doing your job for free?

or spending your life making/creating something that is then stolen from you, simply because current technology enables people to do it?

would you really be ok with that?

  • @000aloush000 your argument is this:

if a jeweller enjoys making jewellery, then they just have to feel ok about it when they get robbed.

even if every piece of jewellery they make gets stolen, they still must feel ok about it, because they enjoyed making it.

    frankly, that is fucking nonsense.

  • @solheights If i was a signed musician, i'm pretty sure no matter how much of your material was illegally downloaded, you would still be paid enough to live comfortably doing something i would enjoy. Its not like the XX are bummin on the streets because i didn't spend 8 quid on their album. And yes, YOUR analogy is "fucking nonsense" as it doesn't reflect the situation.

  • @000aloush000 "if i was"..."i'm pretty sure"...

thanks for confirming you have no idea what you are talking about...why bother responding?

if you have their album and didn't pay for it, you're a thief. or does the basic principle of theft not apply to you personally?

re my analogy, it perfectly captures your initial, ill thought out, comment.

in future i'd suggest only commenting on things that you are either qualified in or have direct experience of, otherwise you just sound ignorant.

  • @solheights sorry, not knowing exactly how much the xx get paid really makes me a morron, however i can assure you its more than me if that makes me less 'ignorant'.

And yes, i do have the album and i didn't pay, so the fuck what? Please don't start baggin' on about me killing independant music through illegal download. Your little generalised jewler metorphor didn't really make sense so don't give me another one.

  • @000aloush000 no one asked you how much The Xx make.

what makes you a moron is not knowing how to spell moron.

now, grow up, you thieving little cunt.

  • @solheights Holy shit.... One spelling mistake!!!!! As if anyone gives a fuck?

O.K pal, I'll grow up and become a little patronising bitch, who's got nothing better to do than try and tell people what to do over youtube, that o.k for ya?

  • @000aloush000 no, but if you grow up, learn how to spell and stop stealing from young musicians who are trying to make a career, then that'll be "ok for me".

btw, you have 5 spelling mistakes, plus some grammatical errors. you really are a fucking idiot.

hey, i have an idea, why don't you do something creative? ahahahaha

  • @solheights something creative, like being a little bitch over youtube? Seriously mate, keep chatting shit, your Pretentious Self-righteous opinions couldn't mean less to me. . . But if thinking you're standing up for independant artists by posting shit on you-tube makes you feel better, then go ahead.

  • @solheights Ps - can you please inform what qualifying experience you have that gives you the right to try and patronise me? Thanks

  • @solheights i agree, except that music isn't a job.

"Music may yet be unborn. Perhaps no music has ever been written or heard. Perhaps the birth of art will take place at the moment in which the last man who is willing to make a living out of art is gone and gone forever" -Charles Ives

  • @mattblair161

Well that quote is the most eloquently written apology for illegally downloading music that I've come across, although I'm unsure if the author meant it for that purpose!

I disagree with you, I'm disagreeing purely from experience, not an esoteric second hand quote. You see, I produced music for indie labels for 14 years, until I had to close my studio due to small labels being unable to give advances any more with their already small profits gone due to illegal downloading.

  • @mattblair161

I could have produced some commercial crap just to keep afloat, but I didn't want to add to the problem that illegal downloading has created (destroying choice as only major labels can function, thus proliferating lagy gagas)...so I gave up my 'job' and now am retraining to do something different. Sad (for me) but there you go, such is life....so, as I'd said:

Support young artists and independent labels.

Help support the young people that provide the soundtrack to your life.

  • @solheights naw dawg

  • @solheights If I loved it, yes I would. Fuck your attitude, its anti-art. This band makes plenty of money despite piracy, its complete bullshit that pirating stops independent artists from emerging, it just takes some of the profit from the most vampyric end of the industry. Money, as every single study has shown without fail, is not conducive to creativity.

  • @7th75thCallaghan Fuck your attitude, it's anti reality. You show yourself to have no clue about the music industry, or art.

If you loved your job you'd do it for free? You're a liar. How would you pay your rent? Or is that not an 'artistic' enough endeavour?

You've trotted out the same vagaries that every ignorant person does when discussing this issue.

You're final statement is the funniest though. Apart from the ridiculous, unsubstantiated claim of 'every single study'...

  • @7th75thCallaghan "Money, as every single study has shown without fail, is not conducive to creativity."

    What a fucking peach.

Andy Warhol is NOT AN ARTIST then? Because, as I'm sure you know, Andy Warhol had a workshop filled with unknown artists...a 'production line' if you will, with him in an executive role to maximise his ARTISTIC output for MONEY. According to you though, he wasn't an artist, because "every single study has shown that money is not conducive to creativity". Idiot.

  • @solheights Unsubstantiated? There have been many studies (google is your friend) into the motivational effects of money in any creative industry. The conclusion is always that not only does money not provide incentive, it actually functions counter to the creative process when the creator knows that it is a finality. Go read. And yes I know the industry, I have many friends involved in the recording, production and performance of music, including those directly related to this band.

  • @solheights Whether Andy Warhol was an artist at some point is irrelevant, filling a workshop full of labourers is not an artistic process, and the music industry is utterly, utterly different. So carry on making those assumptions about me, it will only make you look increasingly naive. Anti-reality? That's cute. Of course any artist needs to eat, but your extreme examples aren't sensitive to the reality, you can make money from it all, and piracy is just an expression of the unfairness imposed.

  • @7th75thCallaghan Thought so, you haven't got a clue. How do I know? Because you speak of 'friends of friends'...yeah, I have a friend of a friend who saw a talking fish. What...you don't believe me?? Hey, well just google it buddy. Blah, blah, blah.

Talk specifics and I may consider a response on the subject. If you can't, then be quiet...and think twice before you send comments that go to my inbox with abusive language...child.

  • @solheights As I expected you resort to more puerile attempts at being insulting, rather than spending 5 minutes researching to find proof of something that goes against what you believe. I did not ever suggest 'friends of friends', I record and perform and speak of immediate friends. Ok, just this once i'll point you in the right direction, mostly to show you how wrong you are... this is a perfect introduction to the general concept that you so struggle with - Google - Dan Pink motivation TED

  • @solheights He covers many of the major studies in a very good talk, so for further detail you can make your own damn effort to find this stuff out once he lists the studies, its all out there. So don't go calling me a child, considering my argument is the only one that is substantiated, and the best you can achieve is inflammatory hot air. Next time be careful about who in particular you try trolling, kid.

  • @7th75thCallaghan You're just repeating my comments back to ma aren't you? I suppose I should take that as a compliment, but I don't, I'm just annoyed that I'm letting you waste my time.

You are a troll, you sent abusive language to my inbox with your response to my initial comment.

Only you picked on the wrong person to troll.

If you want to send comments to me on how piracy has affected your music career, I'll happily discuss your points, if you don't have any direct, professional (cont)

  • @solheights HAHAHA! I just gave you everything you asked for, and that is the best you come up with. Trolls normally don't submit that easily! I sent nothing to your inbox, I refuted a claim, which I have now clearly disproven with several decades of research that I linked you and, which you choose to ignore like a child or religious delusional person. Honestly, piracy is something of concern to the businessman, not musicians, we are too busy playing. Go back to your artless consumerist life.

  • @7th75thCallaghan Aah...I get it. I get a message in my inbox from you (a response to a comment on a video) and in it you tell me to "fuck my attitude".

But that isn't being a troll. Me getting a message with abusive language from you is not me being trolled by you.

Look, I think there night be potentially something wrong with you mentally. So, I apologise for responding to you abusive language with more abusive language.

Don't do it again please. Thanks.

  • @solheights So you have no comment to make regarding the fact that I just utterly ripped apart all of your lame attempts at following through on your bullshit? That would suggest that there is something wrong with you mentally, that I said fuck your attitude because you said something incredibly naive, artless and ignorant is certainly not an indicator of mental illness. You are following the classic pattern of an unintelligent person losing an argument, first i'm stupid, then insane. You = easy

  • @7th75thCallaghan You're a troll, end of story...next.

  • @solheights I'm still waiting for something other than hot air. You have not substantiated anything, I have provided you with very clear proof, and yet I am the troll. You should work on your rhetoric at least if all you are going to attempt is strive for the last word. Anyone who reads our interchange has access to the points I made and the evidence for them, whereas all you have representing you is the adolescent equivalent of a child saying 'I know you are but what am I...'. So innocent.

  • @7th75thCallaghan Get help troll.

  • @7th75thCallaghan (cont) and personal experience of the music industry and the effects of piracy, then I'd advise you to be quiet about the subject.

And I'd also advise you to think again about your use of abusive language to peoples inboxes. I'm calling you a child as I'm assuming by your immature actions, you are actually, a young immature person.

  • @solheights Oh and in terms of sending your childish rhetoric back at you, its just a simple way of neutralising the bullshit you offer, meaning only the facts are left standing, and to an intelligent person the facts are enough.

  • @7th75thCallaghan Sooooo Pretentious, stop trying to sound like a smart arse.

  • @h1a2n3n4a5h6 Sooooo incurious/uninsightful. Unless you have something interesting to say, might as well not say anything. Considering that it is within my field of study, to call it pretention is a false assumption on your part. Stop trying to sound superior just because you are disinterested, it doesn't make you a cooler person, let alone better.

  • @7th75thCallaghan Ha why do you have such a need to come across as such a clever well informed person, no one cares. Clearly the people in your life can't be bothered to listen to the pretentious crap you come out with so you feel the need to post as much as your knowledge as possible on a public site so you feel intelligent... boring.

  • @h1a2n3n4a5h6 lol kid. Assumtions make you look like a fool, you are the one whining like a bitch, yet you use the word boring on others. Grow up, there's a big world out there where your incuriosity and anti-intellectuality is not welcome.

  • @7th75thCallaghan ah man you slacked on the first comment, is that why you had to follow up your reply with a second, just so you can continue to feel ever so clever. Clearly anyone of any real intelligence would realize that spouting of as much knowledge and 'big clever' words as possible gets you no where in life, you're the sort of pretentious idiot at parties that people kind of feel sorry for.

  • @h1a2n3n4a5h6 Whatever you say kiddo. I'm guessing you at least understand the words 'projecting' and 'bitter'. You really do have too much time for someone you consider a pretentious idiot, so if you are going to be a troll, you should at least work on your rhetoric.

  • @7th75thCallaghan I think you're confused with what pretentious means.... I've got just as much time as you seem to have....

  • @h1a2n3n4a5h6 Buy a dictionary. Maybe read it too.

  • @h1a2n3n4a5h6 People who have time to fight on Youtube concern me...

  • @Carsonapolis People who have time to read fighting concern me more...

  • @h1a2n3n4a5h6 Hmm yeah because reading comments on Youtube takes so much time up from listening to music at the same time...Yup.

  • @Carsonapolis you're kind of getting involved in the fight... hypocrite;)

  • @h1a2n3n4a5h6 Just correcting you <3

  • @h1a2n3n4a5h6 Anyway, your inane and puerile drivel offers nothing to anyone, what me and the other guy were talking about IS a very important issue. That you fail to see that only says things about you, not us.

  • @solheights actually maybe it will become about the music again and not just maken money, also i doubt any emerging artist sees money from record sales, every new artist gets raped by the companies and make a majority of their money from doing shows and selling merchandise so get educated and why dont we cut them out and share good music ourselves and maybe get rid of the hannah montanas' along the way

  • @evanyandibory Are you telling me to get educated on this subject? If so, then I can tell you I am...very.

You're saying that a songwriter doesn't have the right to pay his gas bill. Well I don't agree with that. In fact I strongly disagree.

Another point is that stifling new music has the opposite effect you may desire. It creates more Lagy Gagas due to mass populist music being the only business model that can survive piracy.

    Stop making things worse.

  • haha dirpy is gone. now you punks actually have to support the great artists who work to bring us great music. If your super cheap though I can teach you to rip music from any internet site with windows explorer.

  • haha dirpy is gone. now you punks actually have to support the great artists who work to bring us great music. If your super cheap though I can teach you to rip music with windows explorer.
