Mr. Cordero is an honest, kind, respectful, and hardworking man. He is also a devoted husband and father. I have had the honor of being a guest in his home. The lives of Mr. Cordero and his family have been deeply altered as a result of his distinguished service at Ground Zero. His health has suffered significantly. He is a brave, authentic, and dedicated American. I hope all Ground Zero Responders are heard and respected in the manner that they deserve. He is my friend.

Mr. Cordero's halting (out of nervousness) but sincere testimony voices the words of an honest and hardworking man who has had his life and health severely compromised by 9/11. Mr. Cordero's lack of hostility towards the government as regards the lack of safety offered to the workers is a testimony to his integrity. I hope this honorable citizen gets the health care and compensation he needs and deserves.

Thank you for your comment. Mr. Cordero happens to be my brother-in-law and he is honorable and very strong. But don't be fooled there is an underlying resentment and dismay for the lack of consideration that was displayed toward all the volunteers. He has put his faith in God and has continued to live his life to the fullest in spite of his failing health.

LOL? Believe me this is no laughing matter. This mans life was turned upside sown just of couple of weeks. Perhaps you didn't really hear what he is saying. He is clearly not on the gov't side but was simply giving credit to those who helped until now. He only faltered because like so many people he is not a public speaker & was nervous. My brother-in-law Fred did something that many didn't do on that day which was help & for that he is now a very sick man.
