i give it around 4 or 5 out of 10. The biggest problem is a light adjuster thing. i have it on manual focus and stuff but its still got to change the colour of the pic =[ its really annoying!!!

@joshdisco no it has a small diesel engine near to the battery slots,granted it is a bit louder and the vibration can distort picture quality but you should be able to overcome this by switching on the handy image stabilizer feature.

my s5700 has done all of my cideo on my channel, click my name to see, but its now broken, green screen error, just over 12 months old so out of warranty as well, longevitiy just isnt the name of the game anymore gentlemen and ladies

I have the S5800 this camera(i think it is about the same thing) is not really good,it can only take decent picture at daytime but at indoor or night photo unless you use a tripod or flash because the ISO noise reduction is not so good compare to other company

I think it's ok,the colors are very good and the mcaro and super macro functions are awsome.pictures at max zoom are ok,in fact they are better than some other more expensive models.indoor at low light there are some no no's:P.I give it 8 out of ten

This isn't a digital SLR, so you cannot take the lense off of this camera.

This is a great camera.. I recommend it to anyone.. Except one tiny thing. if you're taking pictures in darker situations the pictures can tend to be a little more grainy.. Other then that.. the pictures are quite clear and I don't think any other camera can get the colors more correct and vivid than this.

yes it does. This camera is AWSOME!!! I bought it about 4 weeks ago! (the videos on my profile are all taken with this camera! It takes great long distance shots, short distance, and macro!
