It sucks just a tiny tiny bit that Bardock didn't seem confident in himself the entire ep. He asked for Fasha more than a few times. That's not a critique I am talking like it's an actual ep.
when they first fought, bardock would be fast enough to dodge all of janemba's attacks and be tough enough to take his best attacks and be slightly hurt. after he gets healed, janemba normally wouldnt be able to hurt him. you can imagine how janemba would normally do against transformed bardock and bardock transformed under the full moon
@Spralwers (long time no see XD) alright, but i have a question, as for the compressed ape from for bardock, was said to be equal to turles, does that mean if he became a oozaru he would be stronger?
So the compressed ape form is just like ssj4 (in fact, practically the same) in gt. It's a controlled, compact oozaru form, but much stronger. The only difference is that when under the full moon, the transformation is way stronger and Bardock's abilities max out totally. Otherwise, it's just an increase in stats on a much larger scale than legendary super saiyan
so to answer your question, no. oozaru would only increase his base powers by 10x while decreasing both his speed and skill. that's nothing compared to what the compact form does ;)

There's also Gohan...) undergo outrageously powerful transformations in a short amount of time that are somewhat unnecessary and too reminiscent of the original Dragonball series. The villains don't really seem to provide that much a challenge anymore yet I liked the whole idea of using "magic" to make the fights more interesting. However, (continued)...
... it had the potential to be better, rather than following in the footsteps of DBZ where the characters just simply transform to a form with an outrageously high power level and solve all the problems with that high power level.
You see, this is exactly why I'm having warriors attain their "full power," something that you never saw in dbz (aside from mystic gohan?). I made this saga with the intent of having the warriors max their abilities out so that in the future, when they fight the strongest in the universe, all their fights will be based completely off of their own unique skills and abilities.
It's clearly a bit of a painful process, but I thought I might as well add some character development along the way.
These have just been some suggestions for how to have improved Dabura and Janemba's character skills. In the same way that Guldo in the series had an awesome time-stopping ability, you could simply place limits on the demon boy's abilities (such as Guldo having to hold his breath) and have Bardock beat their strategy more strategically, not just with a "higher ki" (remember the MULTI-FORM technique from DB that got tossed aside in DBZ?) That might be a bitch to edit but it's a suggestion.
I'm still curious as to how strong the strongest in the universe are. I mean based on these transformations and the weakness of these other villains and the fact that you've gone through so many, I'm beginning to think you're running out of bad guy characters and how much awesome-er you can make the fights look to make it seem as if they're on a whole other "level" lol. Well I gtg sleep now it's late ttyl.
Also keep in mind that I initially gave Turles his full power. That means in the next fanfic, he will have to win based on his own unique skills and abilities, and can't rely on a 'stronger form.'
The only thing I don't like about doing this saga is that all the really important stuff gets explained later on... It's too bad that I can't do this whole saga at once and upload it. I instead have to force ppl to wait like 5 months for each episode.
Well hopefully these transformations and power ups come to an end. Mystic Gohan is a bad example from DBZ, because despite not having a super cool transformation, he still undergoes a relatively fast ritual that drastically raises his power, and maybe that's the problem. I don't see much purpose to Fasha and King Vegeta than just simply adding more main characters that will undergo a quick training or ritual to obtain their "full power"
Haha. The transformations have to come to an end. At least in my universe, there's no way you can push your body beyond its maximum, it will end up capping out somewhere.
I simply added Fasha and Vegeta to make Bardock and Turles's fanfics a little more interesting. In the end, it will always be the original five heroes. I'm having enough trouble keeping up with five already, more would just be pushing it.
Alright then, this is where I was struggling. I definitely should've come to you for help. My original plan was to actually give the demons the true ability to control space and time. Given that they're as tough as Bardock, how was he gonna win? How do you defeat opponents that can reverse space and time when they're around your abilities? I thought the best solution was to have it disguised as a clever illusion, and at some point have the main character figure it out.
Well, in the same sense that saiyans and the main characters don't have an unlimited amount of ki such that they can simply charge a blast infinitely powerful to wipe out anything, you could have made the demon boys have a limited amount of magic power, so they couldn't control space and time indefinitely. If you had placed such limits on their power (such as they consume more magic power the more they use their ability, or the longer Dabura messes with time) because (continued)...
... if Dabura really had *UNLIMITED* magic power, he could simply go all the way back in time to when Bardock was a little baby and then kill him then, but if you placed a limit on his power such that it consumes too much magic energy, he wouldn't be able to use his time-reversing ability that often or for that long. Another limit you could put on his power is how often Dabura can use it. Let's say he has to wait 20 seconds between each "time morphing" thing before he can use it again? (cont.)
You could have given the demon boys more than just those abilities, or strictly the time and space abilities. For Dabura when he was losing and getting desperate, he could have like spammed his reviving thing to spawn a crapload of re-animated dead people to fight Bardock. As for Janemba's space ability, it could have been better than just using pretty colors and light to distract the opponent, lol. He could have done like an interdimensional warping thing (cont.)
For example, Janemba is facing Bardock and shoots a chou makouha (mouth blast) at him and Bardock blocks the incoming blast because it is coming straight at him. But then, Janemba uses his space-controlling abilities to morph the blast to come out of space behind Bardock (kind of like fat Janemba's ultimate blast, or Janemba's interdimensional movement like from the original series when he fought Goku and Vegeta). Also like Dabura, the more he uses it, the more magic energy it uses up. (cont.)

The story is starting to deteriorate lol... the demon swordmasters really failed at using their abilities. There have been so many strange power increases in the five main characters I'm wondering if anyone is stronger than them since they seem to win every fight. 5x a legendary super saiyan? Wtf is this? Turles did not even have a "hidden potential" form like Bardock. This series has too many main characters. The effects have gotten really nice but that should not make up for lack of substance.

In the grand scheme of things, I made Bardock's form much stronger than an lssj because in the grand scheme of things, his form is much harder to achieve. I had Bardock say it was at least 5x an lssj, just so it was possible for the viewer to put things into perspective.

You see, this is exactly why I'm having warriors attain their "full power," something that you never saw in dbz (aside from mystic gohan?). I made this saga with the intent of having the warriors max their abilities out so that in the future, when they fight the strongest in the universe, all their fights will be based completely off of their own unique skills and abilities.
It's clearly a bit of a painful process, but I thought I might as well add some character development along the way.

These have just been some suggestions for how to have improved Dabura and Janemba's character skills. In the same way that Guldo in the series had an awesome time-stopping ability, you could simply place limits on the demon boy's abilities (such as Guldo having to hold his breath) and have Bardock beat their strategy more strategically, not just with a "higher ki" (remember the MULTI-FORM technique from DB that got tossed aside in DBZ?) That might be a bitch to edit but it's a suggestion.

I'm still curious as to how strong the strongest in the universe are. I mean based on these transformations and the weakness of these other villains and the fact that you've gone through so many, I'm beginning to think you're running out of bad guy characters and how much awesome-er you can make the fights look to make it seem as if they're on a whole other "level" lol. Also keep in mind that I initially gave Turles his full power. That means in the next fanfic, he will have to win based on his own unique skills and abilities, and can't rely on a 'stronger form.'
The only thing I don't like about doing this saga is that all the really important stuff gets explained later on... It's too bad that I can't do this whole saga at once and upload it. I instead have to force ppl to wait like 5 months for each episode.

Well hopefully these transformations and power ups come to an end. Mystic Gohan is a bad example from DBZ, because despite not having a super cool transformation, he still undergoes a relatively fast ritual that drastically raises his power, and maybe that's the problem. I don't see much purpose to Fasha and King Vegeta than just simply adding more main characters that will undergo a quick training or ritual to obtain their "full power"

Haha. The transformations have to come to an end. At least in my universe, there's no way you can push your body beyond its maximum, it will end up capping out somewhere.
I simply added Fasha and Vegeta to make Bardock and Turles's fanfics a little more interesting. In the end, it will always be the original five heroes. I'm having enough trouble keeping up with five already, more would just be pushing it.

Alright then, this is where I was struggling. I definitely should've come to you for help. My original plan was to actually give the demons the true ability to control space and time. Given that they're as tough as Bardock, how was he gonna win? How do you defeat opponents that can reverse space and time when they're around your abilities? I thought the best solution was to have it disguised as a clever illusion, and at some point have the main character figure it out.

Well, in the same sense that saiyans and the main characters don't have an unlimited amount of ki such that they can simply charge a blast infinitely powerful to wipe out anything, you could have made the demon boys have a limited amount of magic power, so they couldn't control space and time indefinitely. If you had placed such limits on their power (such as they consume more magic power the more they use their ability, or the longer Dabura messes with time) because (continued)...

... if Dabura really had *UNLIMITED* magic power, he could simply go all the way back in time to when Bardock was a little baby and then kill him then, but if you placed a limit on his power such that it consumes too much magic energy, he wouldn't be able to use his time-reversing ability that often or for that long. Another limit you could put on his power is how often Dabura can use it. Let's say he has to wait 20 seconds between each "time morphing" thing before he can use it again? (cont.)

You could have given the demon boys more than just those abilities, or strictly the time and space abilities. For Dabura when he was losing and getting desperate, he could have like spammed his reviving thing to spawn a crapload of re-animated dead people to fight Bardock. As for Janemba's space ability, it could have been better than just using pretty colors and light to distract the opponent, lol. He could have done like an interdimensional warping thing (cont.)

For example, Janemba is facing Bardock and shoots a chou makouha (mouth blast) at him and Bardock blocks the incoming blast because it is coming straight at him. But then, Janemba uses his space-controlling abilities to morph the blast to come out of space behind Bardock (kind of like fat Janemba's ultimate blast, or Janemba's interdimensional movement like from the original series when he fought Goku and Vegeta). Also like Dabura, the more he uses it, the more magic energy it uses up. (cont.)

The story is starting to deteriorate lol... the demon swordmasters really failed at using their abilities. There have been so many strange power increases in the five main characters I'm wondering if anyone is stronger than them since they seem to win every fight. 5x a legendary super saiyan? Wtf is this? Turles did not even have a "hidden potential" form like Bardock. This series has too many main characters. The effects have gotten really nice but that should not make up for lack of substance.

Turles has had a hidden potential like Bardock, and he used it at the tournament.
In the grand scheme of things, I made Bardock's form much stronger than an lssj because in the grand scheme of things, his form is much harder to achieve. I had Bardock say it was at least 5x an lssj, just so it was possible for the viewer to put things into perspective.
