@SamuelSeagoon In what sense?, did they rob a Bank?, or perhaps Fuck the neighbors kids, maybe these Women ganged raped and Mutilated Corpses... All double standards. I suppose in your eyes a Woman deserves a good beating if she sneezes in Public (That's generally how you Subjugate a Female).
@KievanTiger I invite you to watch "The life and death of Peter Sellers". It was released in 2004 and starred Geoffrey Rush and Charlize Theron. It showed a very watered down version of his attitude towards Women. Very watered down indeed. I think Britt Ekland would be the greatest source, and she played it cool for the movie. I am not going to invite more sources because that would involve people that I know that knew this WANKER personally and I'm not going to do that in a public forum.
Funny how Parkinson didn't interview him on why he hated Females and beat the crap out of all his wives?. This piece of SHIT should have never been allowed to breathe, let alone earn a pay check. So glad your gone Peter... hope your in Afghanistan with all the other Misogynists.
I'm a 4 hour old sperm cell and love all the following: Peter Cellers, Fertiliza Minelli, Gene Wilder, Christopher Conceives, Truman Zygote, Oliver Seed, Seman Spielburg, Preg Norman, Organic Faldo, Yoko Chromo, Roger me moore, Squirt Reynolds, Erect Clapton, Born Connery, Ball Mccartney, ET the extra testicle......
I once heard an interview from the BBC in which Sellers interviewed himself posing as Mr. Bialagi, the general manager of a bus-and-truck company performing the native version of My Fair Lady in India. Does anyone know of this and where it may be?
@msmoo1968 I watched the Pink Panther. And I watched the Life and Death of Peter Sellers. I also read about him on wikipedia. They all suggested to me the same thing. That he was a disturbed, unfunny man.
Such amazing actor, its a real shame he had so many personal issues :( he could have done so much more had he not died. But again as they same, some people dont change.
how come whenever a young person is watching old stuff they're so proud of themselves they have to say how old they are. "I'm only 19 1/2 and i love smokey robinson..." yeah yeah great
@rubbersoul420 Maybe that because everyone tells us we DON'T appreciate stuff and that is your below 50 you havn't lived and can't comment on anything artistic. Well we can and we do and we will. In short, maybe where sick of being stereotyped as brainless idiots. I'm 21 so don't bother talking down to me.
@rubbersoul420 Maybe its because younger people are so sterotyped! In short-if we act young and our age, you don't like it and you'll complain and then when we actually appreciate other stuff you criticise us for appreciating it. Arn't you a peice of work saying such nasty things? Its not pride in themselves, its appreciating the artist, do you get that? Then again, you have to wonder about your mindset posting such a mean spirited, pointless, dull peice of rhetoric, I've made it interesting.
A comedic genius and a sad character, could not live his own life so lived through his characters. Died at the age 54, a real loss of a unique character.
Started watching the pink panther movies with him in it. amazing actor funny even now in 2010 and they were made in the 60's-70's. i find 80's music amazing and i enjoy most older films. i have seen and own all carry on movies and Sid James is another legend i unfortunately didn't meet..
He had his faults, but he was, and still is, IMO, the King of Comedy. Interesting to note his singing voice is close to John Lennon's when Lennon himself was such a huge fan of Sellers.
Peter Sellers.....you just dont get comedians like this anymore, a cleache i know, but it is true. the likes of *...... for example are not fit enough to wipe his arse. It is sad that this type of comic genius is now long gone never to be repeated.
*Micheal McIntyre......sorry but his name was not fit enough to have even have been in the same sentance as this great performer!!!!!
Marvelous! I'm such a fan of this great, great man. So wonderful to see this, as we in the States didn't have an opportunity to watch it. Thank you so much!!
That's eerie how Sellers's voice starts out in the purest clipped RP when he's talking about being a drummer, but when he's talking about going to Yorkshire his voice suddenly goes Northern, and then when he changes the subject it goes back to RP again.
inspite of the unique comic talents that peter sellers possessed, he was not the easiest man to get along with as he himself supposedly pointed out. interviews like this one from 1974, simply do not show the real man. perhaps no interview could ever show the real man that was peter sellers.
sellers is a comedy genius NEVER EVER broke character. concur with smoke, in Dr. strangelove he played a madman and the American president so beautifully.
Peter Sellers was a real one off, and looking at people like Will Ferrell and Mike Myers hes been a real influence on their work, Id say he was an original and ahead of his time too. Parkinson tries hard to get the real man and i think at times he does here but i sense Sellers needed to hide behind his characters and he was a little uncomfortable in his own skin. something that made him interesting and added a depth to his work, something that i dont think is there in Ferrell or Myers work...
seeing this is the same as very sad and very uplifting. when i see peter i always saw a genius that all his life was affected by the fear of failure to being not one. r.i.p mister sellers

He certainly is a good actor. Hardly, a great interview. What I mean is, where are the raconteurs. Hollywood was full of people that weren't just good actors, they were interesting when interviewed. I think that era ended a while ago. You only have to watch Parkinson to who fits the category and who doesn't.
@SuperSmokey89 I hear you, pal! I'm 21 and I can't get enough of Sellers. Comedic genius. You should check out Spike Milligan too; they both have a similar style of humour.
