  • I have three water turtles that i let run in the yard . That have their own pond and go under a shed for shade . They share the yard with a dog , cat , and land tortoises . Been like this for years. I couldn't do the tank bit with them .

  • @Depro900 yeah this is just a kmart kiddie pool. Summer time I like to put them out on the deck in this kiddie pool so they can bask in the real sunlight (instead of the basking light in their tank) they love it.

  • @ELLA1683 okay thank you! I think im going to just put my turtles in a kids ppol outside in the summer and there tanks in the winter wihich sucks bec there not nearly as big as a kids pool! But Great Idea!

  • Do you ever have hatchlings? The yellow markings on their heads is awesome! If you ever do have hatchlings I would be interested in buying a few.

  • @Redbull357 Last year my female turtle did lay a few eggs but unfortunatley none of them hatched =(

  • It was so cute when they were swimming against the current and swam to the rock for a rest

  • I hate it when turtles do that swimming against the wall thing.

  • @ziggyziggmuff No, I can tell they might most likely be Western Painted Turtles. I have a WPT, and she looks just like those turtles.
