  • Too liric and "light" for this role but much better than other famous Ladies Macbeth

  • one of the best interpretations of this insanely difficult aria.

  • Voce fuori luogo, troppo leggera per questo repertorio...

  • I'm not surprised at all she could sing so well this aria. She's a soprano lirico leggero who, for unknown reasons, decided to sing mezzosoprano roles, allowed to do it by her confortable chest voice. But her lack of true mezzo colour, her abuse of chest notes (which sounded very different from the rest of her voice) and her amazingly easy top notes betrayed her true nature. I actually think that she could've based her career on roles like Maria Stuarda and Anna Bolena, or even Lucia and Gilda

  • My goodness! She even did the high D-flat fil di voce at the end. Unbelievable. And to think that there are sopranos that cannot produce this note...Agnes forever!...

  • @johnnybouhaha No, there are sopranos that can sing the same note in he same way...but mostly in Russia & in Poland

  • Which recording does this aria belong to? I guess it's a medley of Baltsa's performances, but which one?

  • Thank you panovp. This is wonderful. Agnes was supposed to sing this role with Thomas Hampson in Zurich but sadly she cancelled ...

  • agnes ist Die griechische Gladiator.

    Ich liebe alles.............

  • The GREAT artist. There is something in her personality, something that makes her performance so MEANINGFUL, so really outstanding... God bless her.
