I wasn't reading much DC comics at the time Bane came out, so my familiarity with him was based mainly on other media. Bane is actually one of the deeper villains in the Batman universe. I'm thinking this interpretation is going to be a darker version of the Bane we saw in TAS.

Riddler isn't dark enough to be used in the way Christopher Nolan is really darkening Batman and making it more realistic as opposed to the past movie that were to much like a cartoon turned real.

I think Johnny Depp would be the best to play this role. I think Jim Carrey did it well, but for me, it just wasn't something that truly described the quintessence of The Rddiler. So, hopefully Johnny will play him in the next Dark Knight.
If they were to put the Riddler in a 3rd film, in Nolan's world, William Fitchner would be perfect. For those that don't know who he is, he was the bank manager that Joker let live in the bank heist scene in TDK. Think about it; Joker saide "whatever doesn't kill you, simply makes you stranger".
The manager was already working for the mafia, handling their dirty money. As far as the famous question mark cane, it can be for fact that he's a gimp since Joker shot him in the legs.

Okay 2 things, 1) They havent even fully confirmed the Riddler is in it (but roumored that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is signed) 2) It isnt even in production yet, it starts filming in April 2011

Chriss Nolan started a new batman story so you can't say the riddler RETURNS because in nolan's series it's like all the villains are new for batman...o and hoping that the Batwing will apear in the 2011 film

Riddler isn't dark enough to be used in the way Christopher Nolan is really darkening Batman and making it more realistic as opposed to the past movie that were to much like a cartoon turned real.

I think Johnny Depp would be the best to play this role. I think Jim Carrey did it well, but for me, it just wasn't something that truly described the quintessence of The Rddiler. So, hopefully Johnny will play him in the next Dark Knight.

If they were to put the Riddler in a 3rd film, in Nolan's world, William Fitchner would be perfect. For those that don't know who he is, he was the bank manager that Joker let live in the bank heist scene in TDK. Think about it; Joker saide "whatever doesn't kill you, simply makes you stranger".
The manager was already working for the mafia, handling their dirty money. As far as the famous question mark cane, it can be for fact that he's a gimp since Joker shot him in the legs.
