You fail to see the point. First off, Hitler killed the jewish people because he believed that because they followed Judaism, that made them less than human. If there were no religion, there wouldnt be that reason. Would he have found some other reason? maybe, we dont know. The goal of the crusades was "to restore Christian control of the Holy Land". No Holy land, no reason to fight. Terrorists of 9/11's primary motivation was religious.

Also, performing kind acts because you are told to by whatever religion you follow is as selfish an act as stealing. You are doing to prevent being damned, not because you genuinly wish to help people. I myself am an agnostic. Does that make me a bad person? no. I Donated $500 to help out Haiti just 3 days ago, for no reason other than I enjoy helping others. That is what everyone should do. Help people for the sake of helping people and not yourself.
donating $500 is an honorable thing to do, good job. but you shouldn't say that to make yourself look like a good person, because you need an objective standard to know that. I don't help people to prevent myself from being damned, but because helping them is exactly the same as giving help to Christ. this is not selfish, like giving your friends gifts to be friendly. and why would you genuinely wish to help people, and say doing it for no reason is the only good way to do it?
Its not that you should do it for no reason, its just that you shouldnt need a reason. Kindness for the sake of kindness.

so if we actually try to follow the teachings of Christ and do as we would be done by, how would that make us murder people for their beliefs? and how can you say Hitler murdered millions of Jews, measuring up Christian standards? he did it for selfish benefits, not for God. the same goes for the Crusaders. and the terrorists of 9/11 have been refuted as heroes by most Muslims.
we wouldn't be much better without religion, as we couldn't know why we should do as we would be done by.

You fail to see the point. First off, Hitler killed the jewish people because he believed that because they followed Judaism, that made them less than human. If there were no religion, there wouldnt be that reason. Would he have found some other reason? maybe, we dont know. The goal of the crusades was "to restore Christian control of the Holy Land". No Holy land, no reason to fight. Terrorists of 9/11's primary motivation was religious.

@xXGarner Hitler set the Jews as a scapegoat to motivate his regime, and obviously they would be known by their religion, just as, he could have killed them for the color of their hair. as for the Crusades, i'm asking you, isn't it just like getting back a land because it is your homeland or for power, not absolutely for glorifying God (which they would not have done, in Christian standards)?

People criticize religion but can you tell me that there would be no more wars, no more killings, no more discriminating of a group and etc. if religion was wiped out? no. Because it is in our human nature to strive for our own desires, no matter what it takes. People use "excuses" such as religion to "justify" their goals. I can guarantee that the excuses will be easily replaced like, hmm "race" for instance.

Also, performing kind acts because you are told to by whatever religion you follow is as selfish an act as stealing. You are doing to prevent being damned, not because you genuinly wish to help people. I myself am an agnostic. Does that make me a bad person? no. I Donated $500 to help out Haiti just 3 days ago, for no reason other than I enjoy helping others. That is what everyone should do. Help people for the sake of helping people and not yourself.

donating $500 is an honorable thing to do, good job. but you shouldn't say that to make yourself look like a good person, because you need an objective standard to know that. I don't help people to prevent myself from being damned, but because helping them is exactly the same as giving help to Christ. this is not selfish, like giving your friends gifts to be friendly. and why would you genuinely wish to help people, and say doing it for no reason is the only good way to do it?

What we should be doing is discussing the music here, which it is my fault for straying from said topic. Personally, I like it. Its soothing and for the people who put it down because its christian are just ignorant. Music is music regardless.

I can go on about the proof that Christianity is truth. There is the blood found on the tomb Christ was crucified. It only had 1 Chromosome. the Y chromosome. and if you know anything about Biology, it takes two chromosomes, one from mom and one from dad. The Y is a female chromosome and the dads is an X. Well if there was just a Y chromosome, there was not a male involved. So whos blood was it? Has anyone else ever been born of a birth involving one female? Christ! Shall I keep givin examples?!

@20gman06 that's not a very important point to bring up, whether it be true or not. you shouldn't have to prove it outside of the evidence found in Scripture, which means you should start by proving the philosophical points in the Bible, not by science. what does materialistic science have to do with my soul? and be less harsh in your wording. i wouldn't want to listen to someone who is aggressively speaking to me, at least in writing.

There is a lot of proof that the Bible is true. Ok, how can the Bible make up a story about a huge boat that held two of every animal on earth on it as well as a family? Also, that would have to be a bigass boat to contain two of about 30 million different animal species.What if they only saved the vertebrates? Thats still 50,000 species. Non fish? 30-31 thousand.
Mammals? 5000 species.
If they ONLY saved the Mammals, that would be 10,000-odd animals.
But then again a majority of school systems dont teach science until 8th
grade so I shouldnt expect too much from you.
