i have watched and read several things on MANOS, and amongst the other HELLarious trivia i learned, the guy whom played torgo was regularly drunk on the set, sometimes too drunk to do his lines correctly, and i like to guess what was "acting" and wat was the guy being hammered!

pillow knees! he was supposed to have goat leggs and hoof feet.

they used fucking pillows! LOL

The best part of this film for me is Torgo. He's supposed to be a goat man, which is never explained in the movie, which is funny enough. But he invented a metal rig made out of coat hangers for himself to wear under his pants so that he looked and walked more like a goat. But he ended up wearing them backwards which screwed up the way he walked, and no one on set corrected him. They just rolled with it. Worse yet, the metal rig gave him chronic knee pain, which forced him to (cont...)

@riddleman65 where did you hear pain killers? i read he wasnt really an actor and had a drinking problem that they diddnt know about till after filming. plus did you know they had no sound while filming? 3 or so people did all the voices and foley, wich explains all the dead sound.

Know what's sad? I read somewhere that the actor who played Torgo spent the rest of his life (which wasn't long because he eventually killed himself) in ridiculous pain caused by the leg braces he worse during the film. He put them on backwards unknowingly and no one bothered to tell him.
