If you look at the fretting hand, you can see that he slides it down the neck at approx 3:19 - I think that you're hearing his fingers sliding down the neck.

@rodrigogarciagonz that's not a pick scrape actually, sounds like a phaser or flanger pedal set to a crazy amount. Paul Gilbert uses this effect aswell and doesn't touch his guitar when he does it, you can check it out in Pauls videos here on youtube.

Yeah. For some reason, Padden with a guitar in his hand, singing (and not just screaming, ala 'All for You') has proved himself to me as a fitting singer for Annihilator! And Jeff, well, he is still the most underrated guitarist out there! He's easily in the Top 5 Heavy Metal guitarists of all time imho. ^^ Annihilator for life!
