@itsstefpapadopoulos the droid is getting the 2.2 update sooner then the droid eris but the eris runs with htc so it has htc apps and is more customizable i would go with the eris

@tohogodzillaman Technically it's the HTC Eris, running on Droid software, but then you have the original Motorola Droid. I got the Droid, because it has the physical keyboard, a bigger screen, and more responsive buttons, but if you're interested in the HTC Droid Eris, don't get it. The upgraded model just came out, which is the HTC Droid Incredible, which is the same as the Eris, but with a bigger screen (Like the Droid's), better software, and a new track pad, replacing the track ball.

lol f the droid I literally got one yesterday and as soon as I got home I hated it. Kept showing me a shit ton of error messages. camera doesnt work, force closes shit... serious idk what anyone could ever like about it other than the processor but thats not that great... same as the iphone big woop just as gay as the iphone

THE DROID does tell you what the message is when it comes up ...and i found the eris too difficult to maneuver compared to the Dare with the tap touch i needed something like that but the DROID gives me two ways to text and type so it won lol

you can also push the menu button on the droid eris when you want to unlock it its faster just push the end button and push menu
