  • 16 yr old covers one of his biggest influences George Lynch and something crazy going on Tierra Del fuego

  • Randy Rhoads quoted that he thought George was a better player than Eddie Van Halen. This was said when Randy was still with Quiet Riot doing the LA club scene.

  • One of the best,George do this more often.

  • not my band but the band iam in we were limited we dont have a precussion conga player just bass drums guitar check us out look below

  • my band did a cover of this and i know nobody ever does this not even george

    /watch?v=AVQMDmthkqw&feature=channel_video_title

  • I could always picture this song as the song for an action show on TV... at the start when they show who is on the show. lol

  • To an extent I understand why Ozzy chose Randy over George the first time he auditioned, because the two had instant chemistry. The second time George got in, for all of three days, before Ozzy changed his mind and went with Jake. He went on the road for two weeks, but never got to play.

In an interview Jake said that Ozzy stopped him from playing blues. George is a blues player, and that may have been the reason he wasn't chosen.

  • The guitar tone and certain notes in this amazing song send shivers up my spine - one of the finest and most diverse guitar instrumentals ever!

  • why its call tierra del fuego>/?

  • @royer808 Don't know why, honestly. Although there's a province of Argentina, in the southern end of the american continent, that's called "Tierra del Fuego" (which means: "land of fire"). Maybe he got inspired in some way by that name, but I'm not really sure. Never seen an interview with George Lynch confirming this in any way.

  • George can ve described with only one word - GOD!Ozzy made a huge mistake when he didn`t pick him as part of his band...

  • @yurivarbanov

    Technically - probably.

But I doubt that two such personalities would ever go together. They would probably destroy at least as many things as they create.

  • @BallyS16 You may have a point...But either way such colaboration would be times better than picking Jake E.Lee or Zack Wylde! ;)

  • @yurivarbanov Eh. I love Lynch but I don't think Ozzy not picking him as his lead guitarist had much of an impact on his success. Every guitarist Ozzy ever had is a legend. The fact that he didn't pick George had absolutely nothing to do with Ozzy's respect for his talent as a guitarist and everything to do with whose style most closely jibed with the kind of sound he was going for. I'd say Ozzy probably made the right call.

  • This is the track Derryl Gabel guests on I believe. Does anyone know which part he plays? Is it the classical bits? Either way - amazing track! Thanks for the upload.

  • Taste and technique combined : )

  • George Lynch at his very best!

  • I love that arpeggiated lick at 1:30. Such a sick idea.

  • The whole song is great but that second solo from 3:35 on is elite.

  • Zero - dislikes, how about THAT - ROCK on GEORGE !!! Probably my FAVORITE of ALL TIME !!!

  • This is one of my favorite from George Lynch. First of all he is ABSOLUTELY HOT and the groove to the music sends me to dream world wishing he was in front of me playing this tune! Ok back to reality, you have to admit the man has amazing talent. Thanks for the post!

  • He's just the best ...

  • smooth

  • never use "sick" george does not want to play this yet

  • great tune!!!

  • Great Tune By Lynch! I'll be going to see Lynch Mob in a couple months in February.. Cant Wait!

  • SUper Mega Dios d la guitarra!

  • smoking a joint to this song is one of the best ways to enjoy it

  • @noir0222 I need a joint

  • @abelfierroIII we all do

  • Pls check Lynch's solo for DREAM UNTIL TOMORROW COMES. I think that was among the best melodic solo ever created and played. Lynch rocks.

  • Lift music

  • I saw George live a couple of times and if he cannot play it live, he won't record it in the studio. He is the BEST, his style, timing speed, and not to mention talent, are not seen today in many others. Long Live "King" George.

  • Can I make love to him in Argentina with this music playing??? I want to dance on the beach during a sunset with a roaring fire! Wow

  • @kristi62372 I´m from Argentina and from Tierra del Fuego. Actually I live here for almost 9 years. George made this amazing music with his fire soul...

  • George is the man! He's not one of those ridiculous modern-day sweep-everything guitarists, he's got a soul and style. Not only that, he can write one hell of a melody one after another (Mr. Scary, I Will Remember, Love Power from the Mama Head).

  • @TheBaconmeister He's got both soul and technique. Don't forget he's a Malmsteen fan.

  • Tierra del Fuego is the province that is at the southern tip of Patagonia Argentina

  • Wow,really good

  • great song, this song just has so much class, nice, george is definately one of the best from the 80s, his lynch mob band was awesome, i think tangled in the web is one of the best songs of all time,

  • Love this stuff glad you posted it.

  • Yeah Post all his stuff!!! Thanks a ton!! George is The American Icon!

  • so where is the tierra del fuego , Spain?

  • @ Noir0222 Tierra del Fuego,Argentina

  • @pulpito2 are you sure ? ok then i'll believe you spain argentina mexico what is the difference

  • Good god listening to this man play is like listening to satan play guitar!

  • Derryl's solo is from 3:18 TO 3:35. I have a copy that actually has 4 seperate solo's which went in order Lynch, Derryl, Lynch, Derryl but I guess they decided Lynch should end the solo section. Got that copy from Derryl a long time ago

  • Who, plays the run at 3.42? George or Derryl?

  • Daryl Gable plays on the right channel in the main solo!

  • It's not entirely George - this song is where Derryl Gabel made his debut after winning a contest in 1992 that was hosted by Guitar for the Practicing Musician magazine.

It's still awesome of course :)

  • what parts does Derryl play?

  • I'm pretty sure of 3:18 to around 3:34, probably some of the harmonies, and possibly part of the outro solo but I will admit - while I am sure Derryl is on there, I'm not exactly sure where :)

  • Sounds like Lynch I think. The speed picking, tapping and the legato I may be wrong though.

  • It's the only part that doesn't emply the usual Lynch-isms...that, and the attack/tone changes which makes me think it's Derryl.

It's hard to really seperate them but he's 100% on there - clearly did a great job of blending styles :)

  • This is freaking awesome, my favorite Lynch jam ever.

  • a ride and a half, and then some

  • very good and "i will remember"......also

  • Cool beat - just makes you wanna jam....

  • I want that tab too! Epic guitar work.

  • Hey, where did you say that tab is? I need that tab!!! LOL

  • my favorite song..

  • beautiful composition, sick tone, awesome interludes and incredible solos, both from george and derryl (that ridiculous sweep lick!).

i really think that this is one of the greatest things george accomplished in his career. one of the best rock guitar instrumentals ever written.

  • definitely man! you (or anyone else reading) dont happen to have a tab of this do you?

  • dude there's an accurate power tab of it floating around somewhere. if you can't find it PM me and i'll see if i still have it.

  • @deliriouscouture totally agree

  • the best

  • 3:18 derryl gabel solo!!!

  • Umm... Who is "Derryl Gabel"?

  • Tierra del Fuego, the last province of my beautiful country, Argentina!

  • I didn't know that was the rational behind this song. One of my favorite GL tunes from this album!

  • Aja!mira vos habra visitado George Lynch?...q visite Bs As y Cba asi combate un poco la movida reggaetonera :P

  • Jajajaja estaria bueno, no???

  • this level of talent intimidates me , way too hard :p

  • It shouldn't. Buried within your spirit is the potential to become much more than you think you are.

  • na this is hard i think... or actually, its not... but parts of the solo in the middle are too hard for me

  • and thanks for the kind words!

  • i think ninjaro wants to suck ur dick

  • It only is if you think it is. You have your own talent and your own identity. You can be just as fabulous, if not more, just by NOT emulating him or anyone else.

  • Lynch rules. Learned alot about how to express feeling in guitar playing from Listening to him.

  • wow...forgot how f'n badass Lynch was! after Ed...nobody better!

  • actually its not in this version...damn....the lick im reffering to comes right after lynchs in the "end" of the solo at 3:54...the lick was the shit!!!especially back than..derryl shreds

  • derryls 2 handed lick in the solo is killa..."spock technique" :)

  • this is uplifting music, high spirits.....great job by both guitarists....george is king though.....

  • George Lynch never fails to amaze. Is there an album that this is off of?

  • Sacred Groove

  • Some may not know the background about this song but this was actually played with a contest winner. (see below) "Tierra Del Fuego" is significant because it features major shred, as Lynch jams with Long Beach guitar monster Derryl Gabel, who won a contest to jam with Lynch on this track. "I Will Remember" offers a soulful, almost neo-classical groove, while "Love Power From the Power Head" is an explosive track in the Joe Satriani and Tony MacAlpine vein.

  • Awesome brilliance.

  • fuck!!! amazing!!! coming from a latino huh? im one of them! and so proud!

  • he's american..

  • pure genius, noone comes close

  • No comments, excelent song and amazing guitar player, one of the best ever

  • Great!!

  • love the latin flavor! George rocks!

  • And some assholes said Lynch has no soul??

Either they are retarded or fucking deaf!

  • @invictuswheels I absolutely agree

  • @invictuswheels

    maybe they are Deaf Retards!!

  • @invictuswheels so many many retards on youtube say that about certain players i have come to the conclusion they have no idea what there talking about

  • pretty latin...

  • Coming from one, it does have a nice latin melody and groove. Yes, more proof that Lynch is one of the heirarchy of guitar gods. I got to get thei cd, anyone no where? I didn't see it at his website?

  • this song is indeed one of his best. Perfect guitar song.

  • luv it......thanx

  • 3:19 deryl gabel solo guest
