We Belong Together is meant to be a very vocal song. I think this version lost much of the impact because it lost the vocalization that Mariah did so fantastically. And whoever said this is better than the original is just plain crazy. Mariah OWNS the song legitimately and no one can outdo the original no matter how hard they try.
