@MrCeej9999 Terribly wrong. This is just another Jazz-Rock song. A thousand of 'em. Rolling Stones fans really don't know what punk is, I mean Respectable punk? Huh? Are you folks high? NOOOOO The Stooges, MC5, New York Dolls were the pre-punks and then of course came the Ramones and the Pistols and Clash followed.
@xDeadMisfitsx If you don't hear punk in this, you're a fucking moron. The speed, the attitude of the lyrics and the way he fucking sings them are what makes this punk.
They did a couple covers on Exile, but this isn't one of them. BTW, the Stones did quite a lot of (excellent) covers regularly--lots of Chuck Berry and Robert Johnson not to mention some Temptations and others.
Here's a good cover of Chuck Berry's Carol from '69:
I love this song, its soo rockin', makes you wanna get up and literally rip this joint.

@ricaug50
Definitely pre-punk. The first time any singer produced such a ranting, angry, rock and roll delivery
Punk derived from songs such as this, as well as a few Dylan numbers.
Listen to the Sex Pistols, and in truth, it is just Johnny Rotten shouting over very basic rock and roll/blues riffs like this

So rare to capture a young Supergroup playing covers. We are listening to their roots!
