In the near future I think this instrument will simply replace the regular contrabassoon. Even though the audio quality is bad you can tell the HUGE difference between both.
@doiberman i played beethoven 5 with my orchestra, and now appreciate how drastically clearer the contraforte sounds - and our contrabassoonist is GOOD.

The Contraforte (from what i understand) is basically a redesigned Contra-Bassoon.

It has the same fingerings as the Contra-Bassoon. Also, the range of volume of the Contraforte is better than that of the Contra-Bassoon.
