  • They approach visitors there because they get fed,so get real mate or don't you feed peanuts to the monkeys in the zoo?Rather go shoot your moth off about all the shit getting washed into the sea by all our so called green company's. You probably work for one. But then you sound like you may still be in school.

  • I can definitely vouch for him being respectful of marine reserves and marine lawl. No one I know loves the ocean more and has more respect for it than AR

DUDE YOUR A WANKER,These guys are doing what they love and sharing it with people, some of whom are not fortunate enough to be able to dive due to a disability , now you come up with this shit comment, poor little fukn kina ,get a life man . Time to open that reserve to a spearfishing comp, and make a new one some were else

  • People like you have no respect for what is a magical place where thousands of people can enjoy the marine life in a natural environment. Are you a fisherman off one of the 8 boat loads that went there to fish and got caught this summer? Suppose you think that's okay too?

  • Awesome footage there Rehab, Great stuff.

  • thanks

  • Hi there

Do you know that it's an offence under the marine reserves act to smash kina to feed to the fish. All marine life is protected at Goat Island. You video will make good evidence if court action is taken. Pity you spoilt what otherwise was a really nice piece of filming. Your mate who was snorkelling can also lose all his gear if he is caught or identified.

  • That is me who was snorkling.. my girlfriend was filming me. An English tourist had smashed kina and I dived down to film the fish feeding on it before surfacing to tell him that all living marine life in the goat island reserve is protected. If I was not there he would have continued doing it unaware. If it is illegal to show the snapper eating a kina that had been smashed by someone then I will remove the video.. Please let me know. I am also very defensive & respectful of reserves.

  • Good to hear that you were not smashing up the marine life but were prepared to stop someone else doing it. That's what we need, more public prepared to stop this stupid behaviour of the minority.

When I looked at your video it was lovely to see the snapper just swimming around naturally most of the time and sounds like you are aware that there is no need to feed the fish as they will approach visitors there.

Your girlfriend has done a really nice job with the filming.
