cowoytd - man, i was at that game! my 1st longhorns game and i can say i saw Colt McCoy break the record for most wins by a starting qb in history! it was great man. When the crowd chanted "Colt for Heisman"', i yelled at the top of lungs...evn though the start wasnt so great for Colt, over the passed few weeks, he has really taken over and showed up! i think he deserves it! it was awesome to stick around and give shipley, colt & all the seniors 1 last "Texas Fight" at DKR! it was crazy man!

Thanks for the game overview TD Cowboy. As a KU Football fan, I really do enjoy your takes afterwards. You were dead on. KU was outgunned. Todd Reesing, Kerry Meier and Dez Briscoe left it all on the field and played as well as they could against the best defense in the country. Also, losing our big bruising running back (Toben Opurum) really hurt us early. He's been our workhorse all year, and he's only a freshman. Remember his name.

Botton Line: I don't see anyone beating Texas.

From what I have heard, the Williams injury isn't too bad. He'll probably be out for the A&M game, but there's a chance he'll be back for the conference title game.

I suspect Texas will get socked in the mouth a couple times early in the game, but there's no way A&M hangs around with Texas for 60 minutes.

Great to see Colt get the most wins of any college QB in history. He deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Vince Young, IMO.

Their ranked nationally because of their defense, But Texas also has a great defense and an ofense that will score points. Florida and Alabama dont have good enogh QBs to throw the ball. They both run the ball and that will not work on Texas. I know Texas wont score 40 points against either of them but they wont have to because there is no ofense in the Special Education Conference.
