I think this was a joke that went over her big head. Sounds like by saying, "we know you're going to do far more for us," these Democratic senators meant, "you are such a nut, we know you will drive concerned moderate conservatives over to our side!" And I'm sure they're pissing their pants laughing if they've seen her actually using this in her campaign.
