im 16 and love to go hunting infact I just got back from pig hunting got me a big ol boar three hundred and 37 pounds is what it weighed shothim with a 30-30

hell ya partnr! no better state to go hunting like NM. got myself a 6x6 in Mescalero, and a huge ass cow in the Gilas. have u applied for oryx in White Sands? do it buddy,havent got the tag yet, still waitin. Good luck & good huntin!

Well I have applied for the Oryx hunt in White Sands, But I have not yet drawn a tag. I hope I do sometime soon, I want one bad! I usually do my Bull hunting in the Carson National Forest in Northern NM. I've tagged 2 pretty sweet bulls, and a couple nice white tails. Good luck, and keep hunting!

My nephew got a 6X5 bull three years ago then 2 yrs. ago he got his Oryx tag there in White sands and tagged a nice one! You HAVE to wear blaze orange (Military regs)but they spot you from MILES away,a vest works fine, so when you spot them untie the front and keep the orange on your back, then you can get up to about 300 yrds. The oryx mount looks great and the meat is really good.
