Physically impressive, but god awful ballet. Over extended legs, as much feeling as a cyborg and barely any actual ballet. And she may have been rock still, but the guy holding her shuffled around with as much grace as a rhino as he kept her in balance. Basically just Chinese circus set to Tchaikovsky.

How does one do pointework on one's shoulders I have no idea and not really willing to try. But my gosh this was amazing to watch! Don't know why people are hating, you can't not call that phenomenal technique and deserves all the merit and praise it gets.

Maybe ballet is the wrong thing to call this as I guess this is acrobatic ballet, but don't go hating on it because of mis-naming something!

@alilotstein there's only a few cheer related parts in there. And they all have a twist to them too. A hands hands, a shoulder stand, a front stretch, and a hands press extention arabesque.

some of the best college cheerleaders wouldn't be able to do half of that...especially since its en pointe!

Cheer is influenced alot by acro, which is pretty much what this is plus the dancing. so that's probably why you think this looks like cheer. but these guys are pro. It's fine to not like it, but please don't dismiss all the hard work and creativity they put in by saying it only looks like cheerleaders. They are pretty unique, and cheer wouldn't be what it is without them :]
