  • @markywarky its goin down by X-Ecutioners

  • This is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu >.>

  • which is the same as judo ie no strikes, locks limited to elbows and knees

  • Which makes it Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

  • And shoulders and wrists, and ankles.

  • 1:39 shoulda hit em with the walls of jericho. hahah

  • Anybody know the name of that leg lock ??

  • well it's a toe hold from the looks of it. Entry just looked like a fancy spin ;)

  • They showed an achilles lock and a toe turn. The achilles is what they pulled the most though. Put the sharp part of your forearm onto their achilles and pull up...very painful !!!

  • Great Demo!

  • the back mount that's executed at 2mins 36sec of the video is crazy bros! He's just as agile as a monkey that's jumping all over you!

  • BJJ is really the most great sport what I ever have seen...

  • well Done! keeps it up!

    Brazilian Jiu Jitsu rulesssssssss

  • jiu jitsu is supposed to be a "soft art"

where you yield to strikes and subdue the opponent without causing having to cause permanent harm. just put him to sleep with a choke. but if your in some real isht....

    BREAK SOME BONES!!

  • ya jiu-jitsu is called "soft" cus it doesn't need strikes to win a fight, but in a real fight where you can pound somebody before finishing them with a submission, it REALLY kicks butt

  • @rjwhatshisname Jiu-Jitsu as in BJJ takes after Jujitsu which is Japanese Jujitsu very similar spelling but Jujitsu means the art of softness because they used their opponents body weight against them by throws and using joint locks so very little strength required all technique.

BJJ is a fantastic Sport and Art I love it, It's a way of life I breathe Jiu-Jitsu.

  • pqp rox³

  • gostei do relogionho..po tem ate crucifixo.......

  • po que isso....a rapidez eh surpreendendo..os dois sao bons mesmo...po o cara deu a volto pelas costas do outro sem pisar no chao....parabens..

  • BJJ is perfect on 1 v 1.

  • And in kicking your ass.

  • Is Jiu Jitsu only sport on the ground? Are there any kicks while to oponent is standing to break his edges?

  • No. Jiu Jitsu doesn`t necesarily involves striking.

  • it rarely involves striking.....they are submission fighters.

  • true. but there are other descending jiu jitsu styles that allow punching and kicking.

  • fuckin beautiful absolutely beautiful

  • O Que Eu Posso Comentar Com um Video Deste...

  • Loko hein!!!!

  • HI EVERYBODY!!! i was just wondering - if you had a triangle choke on someone, would it be effective (if your opponent was about to "stack and slam" you) to grab with your hands both of his ankles and (with your legs which are wrapped around his head) push him back down to the ground? i saw this technique used by someone in another video but was just wondering if it was a "safe" thing to do. alrite thx!

  • You should actually use your hips with your legs to bring him down, you can use your hands to push his head down in order to make it more tight for him. Try raising your hips or twisting him onto his side, then finish him off with your hands on his head

  • if someone is going to pick you up and slam you, just hook under on of his legs with your arm. this will prevent the slam

  • i agree, hooking the leg is the best option. It keeps him from picking you up and you can sweep him very easily from that position.

  • Something else you could do is, lower your legs onto his hips when he stands up, and grab his ankles, then u can exert force onto his hips while his feet are locked, so that he falls backwards and u can obtain a mount position or side control

  • songs: xecutioners (sp?) i'ts goin down (ft. linkin park) one of my favourites

  • Plz tell me the song's name! Good video!

  • He probably means Japanese Jiu Jitsu.

  • that is totaly right

  • Wat is the groupe name? thanks :)

  • awsome love it, I also do jiu-Jitsu but its Canadian im orange belt. ani ways that great. wat grop is that love it

  • Orange belt isn't a belt in Jiu-Jitsu

  • yes it is I'm Yonkyu orange belt

  • Language lesson: In Japanese "jujutsu" is one word, not two. "Ju" means "soft or "flexible" and "jutsu" means "technique" or "method. The dash in jiu-jitsu is unnecessary. It should be written jiujitsu, and thus BJJ should be written BJ. Read and learn!

  • what i wanna know is y there is a striking bag in a brazilian jiu-jitsu school? from what i understand brazilian jiu-jitsu uses very few strikes, so do they practice kicking when theyre not practicing bjj?

  • Most BJJ schools practice a little of everything now-a-days. When BJJ started it was tested in Vale Tudo situations in Rio, and thus the art has always embraced the idea of cross training and learning from all martial arts styles (that are effective, when incorporated w/ bjj)

  • that was hot, but walking a fine line i think. this is the first step down a slippery slope that leads towards guys who can do that stuff all day, but who get tapped at tournaments and stomped in fights. though from the looks of it, those guys are very technically sound. whatever...my two cents

  • Well, your two cents aren't worth anything. Since these people have already won tournaments, competed in MMA and proved that they are worthy! And I'm sure the average street joe can't "stomp" them. This is just a demo, nothing serious or special.

  • wow...thanks for that profoundly condescending comment. that may very well be...my point, as it was made originally, is that i've seen some pretty awesome Tae Kwon Do demonstrations too. The slippery slope is schools where guys can do this stuff all day, but are relatively untested in any other capacity. obviously you didn't get the metaphor...first step being these guys, the slope being the end result

  • btw, I want to be clear i mean no disrespect to the Werneck boys, especially not Tyrone Glover. I saw him compete a while back, and the guy was incredible to watch...lightning fast. like i said, technically very sound fighters, but I doubt the next generations generation' will be, if the standard for training changes from a competetion oriented one to a "demonstration" one, as has been the case with most martial arts styles

  • These guys don't train for this kind of stuff at all. I doubt they spent more than a couple of days putting this together, all of their other training is for real competition against resisting opponents.

  • You would have a good point IF Bjj had little to no actual sparring. BUT sparring is a BIG part of Bjj and it is extremely hard to advance or progress in the artform without havin demostrated ones skills against a full resisting opponent. The future generations of bjj practitioners are SAFE as long as sparring is a big part of Bjj. And the last I've check there is no threat of it being taken away from it!

  • Impressive!!
