@Peacepuppy5 I used adobe after effects CS5 particular, form, cclightrays, shine etc.  Its not hard when you get into it you can do amazing things with AE. You should see my latest one with more effects and me changing into tennant :) Thanks for watching

@BeverageBoy11 I didn't I painstakingly went through the recordings of The Real Tardis without the doctor there and then green screened myself in :) The shadows are created by shining a bright light at me and just let them naturally appear on the background to look even more realistic. Light rays and other effects did the rest. Thank you for watching :)

Fucking rendering takes ages that is why I used smoke for those of you that want to know how long it takes lets just say 3 hours for a simple 5 mins. Also for that person that said you can tell its not real LULZ. Yeah I really got my own Tardis and really regenerated. Of course its not real that's the whole point. I did this for my own entertainment and for enjoyment of others. Not for profit etc....

@WhovianTrailers 6 processor cores 12 gig of ram cs5 adobe. The only thing I can think of to decrease rendering time is a damn good graphics card that has its own gpu and lots of cache. So its save up time. It depends if I feel its worth it. Other than that set it and forget it when I go to sleep :)

@7078959 no I have seen the best love the wispy hand effect that is the one to nail. I believe that form was used for that. So its back to the drawing board. My next one simply is going to use form on its own

Just watched the regeneration of the Master and really totally different again. Its like a lot of things every one is different. I would love to see the next regeneration pushing the boundaries of what is possible. I mean there is so much that can be done with after effects now.

pretty cool BUT it seemed a little awkward...you just looked at your hand (front back front back front back) then one of them stopped and started gain to be honest though, the catatonic, blank stare irks me out a little bit. You would think that REGENERATING would be an incredibly emotional moment? the pinnacle of their evolution allowing them to transform them into an entirely new person. It's also EXTREMELY taxing on their bodies and youre just standing there like a stranger in an elevator..

Form works by converting an image into particles then you can shape them how ever you want such as the shatter effect it is a brilliant program

Particles are too blurry. It would look more impressive if they were sharper. You could also blur the background out a little, then color grade the shot. Last, but not least, try making transitions between the effects so they don't just randomly disappear. Either way, what you've already accomplished looks great! Many stars for you ;)
