its all about the tune, i've seen evo's make 350hp with full boltons + meth on 91 octane with the stock turbo. I just purchased a FP Red and if the tuner only gets my car to 377, i wouldnt pay him..thats weak for a bigger turbo.

yeah 377 with a FP red and some supporting mods is no good man, i have a '10 and full bolt ons minus the header, and i am making 390 at stock psi. need to get rid of cobb and go with evoscan and ecuflash...

@silentsoul86 i never said i did my tune, i was just suggesting that maybe he should get it pro tuned without the cobb. dont get me wrong i fully support the cobb tuner but i think there is just much more that can be done with other programs.

Before you bash the tuning solution, maybe you should look at who's actually doing the tuning. The AccessPORT can and has supported new EVOX's to insane power numbers and will continue to do so.

@cobbtuning I think what @evobill86 was saying without actually saying it, is, anyone with know how and a dyno can add fuel and timing to make bigger hp numbers. Its about the efficiency of such. Cobb is a great company, and I am not bashing it whatsoever. I just think professional businesses should be preaching about doing it the right way. How do you handle combacks? You tune a vehicle, the customer takes the car, it breaks in a week. What do you tell them? Tune at your own risk? Ok, so be it

this is has FP red and it is doing 377 on the wheels ??? thats nothing, I have evox with stock turbo just bolts on and i tunned it i made 345 WHP at 23 psi!

i think on your fp red you can do way more than now

yes I own the white 2010 wingless gsr done by cobb, I paid about that much for it.

@mwjrevox thanks, i want an evo x bad...but im afraid of the tranny and the maintenance in the long run...is it really as expensive as many people say?

I have 1900 miles on the car. I have not had any issues with the clutch or tranny yet. I have it in the shop now getting more work done though so Im sure it will happen soon. There are many different products that will reduce issues once the issues have happend lol. Excedy clutch, possibly a dog box tranny if you can deal with the ridiculous whining and if you find someone will to install it.
