I like this! I always love seeing new and different takes on classic works, so kudos to this cast and creative team for putting something like this together. How were audience reactions to it? Did they still "get it" even without giant storybooks and literal sets/costuming?
Favorite part: the in-character exits before intermission. Much more effective than an end-of-scene blackout.
