I like the Hachi driver. Look carefully. When he starts his revs prob wasn't even on the red zone.. He stayed on the civic's tail on purpose. When ur upfront you get more pressure since you have a feeling you're being chased. How do I know the driver didn't use the full potential of the car? Watch 2:00 when he heel toe downshifts to drift on a low power car like an hachi you gotta keep the revs up. Look at his pedal, listen for the rev, and look how close he is to the Civic. Hachiroku Epic Win!

@apexdna Regarding how Honda makes the best FFs, that could be very true. The CR-X was considered a very fun to drive car, even if it was an FF. As for the prelude, I read somewhere that they incorporated some type of technology to mimic FR handling but in an FF.

I know I'm gonna sound like a Honda fanboy, but that's the F1-derived double-wishbone suspension design used during those years and is the reason why Hondas, such as the '90s ITR, is considered the best handling FF cars ever made.

I could go on deeper into the topic and try to explain why the rear wheels are partially responsible for handling, the correct wheelbase length, etc.

And if that is not enough, the driver of the EK9 was some no-name race car driver. If anything, I'd be impressed that EK9 held it's own for a lap or so. I'm telling you, Hondas gotta be one of the most underrated cars on the planet.
