  • I'm 25, a cool layed back down to earth person who stutters. Its weird beacuse I have a identical twin brother who doesn't, but I do lol. I stutter midly, but it still affects my life. I could use a friend or friends who stutters, we can help each other 4real. So Add me on Fb @ "Justin Romero Brewer" or follow me on twitter @JustinSwaggz or call me on my cell 216 322 7303. God bless yall, keep faith & may god give us the direction out this painful & frustrating impediment... Peace

  • This is so sad smh

  • In this clip it says that stuttering is not confidence based or nervous based, but then the speech pathologist says its not entirely clear what causes it? Well, maybe they need to rethink their statement? To claim that stuttering is not psychological and solely based on physiology, is the same as cliaming that an individual has no spontaneous feelings, emotion or innovation with the conformity of the will! the mental, emotional and physical play an equal role with stuttering. I am a stutterer.

  • @TheSourceOfAll What is weird is that all the people who stutter, only stutter when talking but never when they are singing. So it has something to do with the breathing and the air they are taking in or breathing out. I know a girl who stutters and when she focusses on her breathing exercices she can speak in public and nobody would even know she stutters but when we talk to eachother in private then she doesnt care and then the stuttering comes back.

  • @tshirttime84 I know what ya mean, it's sometimes like that with me as well. Although, i find that what drives my stuttering for the most part isn't so much based on breathing or timing, but what i call the 'pre-ordained fear perception' of being judged by non-stutterers and not fitting in with the social speaking composite of society. When my fear of stuttering is forgotten for a few moments, my speech is quite relaxed. The breathing is also a big key to being in command of speech as well.

  • What a lovely girl!

  • I know what she feels like. I too have a stutter but not as severe.

  • I have a daughter that is beginning to stutter, and I felt so bad, just wanna to cry.it's gonna be so difficult for her to go to school

  • I feel very sorry and i wish i could help

  • The type writer guys a dick

    Read wat he's sayin lol

  • Alot of varying mental issues start in school because its a cruel place full with indifferent assholes. It can be especially agonizing to switch schools. A sensitive person can get screwed up in all sorts of ways when they're that young and people start to shun or tease or beat them.

Such a shame, she is very cute girl

  • i have a studder almost as bad as Hannah, so i can really relate. its really hard to overcome, and people who have one, know exactly what im talking about. keep your head up hannah! your a really pretty, wonderful girl, you can get through this. <3

  • That sssssucks

  • Hannah is very brave. One day, she becomes President of the united states!

  • Hannah is a really pretty girl :)

  • sucks

  • I stutter too! & I think your like really braveee!!!

  • And what's crazy is it's mostly a mental thing. Or is it? I really don't know... could someone help me out? Her parents said that it kinda happened over night, and I'm thinking maybe the person that stutters gets so nervous about that the fact that they DO stutter, and that might makes them stutter more. Maybe if they tried not to force away the stutter, and just let it pass, it would be easier. I really don't know though, and I will pray for this girl.

  • @cordsman People like to say the the child did something in their childhood that caused stuttering, but the truth is, it can happen overnight, it has nothing to do with intelligence or anxiety. It just happens, the connection between the mouth and the brain is broken somehow...nobody knows...

  • @cordsman From my point of view because I stutter, stuttering can come up whenever it feels like it. Doesn't matter if you are scared, nervous, anxious, anything. It doesn't make a difference, though my stutter is different (everybody's is) I still have a firm thought that stuttering is not caused by nervousness.

  • @nobodycaresmeimei yeah i agree with you too. as a stutterer myself, I actually stutter less when I'm nervous, such as doing a presentation. I hate it when everyone thinks I'm stuttering because I'm nervous because it's not true!!! also, i speak another language at home and i absolutely CANNOT speak it without stuttering. my guess is that i speak english more outside such as at school and with friends and the practice probably made it better

  • im 16 and a stutterer too, i really hope you over come this problem cause its a pain. people laughing teasing you about it, afraid to speak up in school, etc. hang on there, you can do it:)

  • I'm going to hell because i admit it. i'm a very bad person. I laughed. It was something triggering my brain as i tried to not laugh but i just did. i really feel for these people that is the thing...god dammit...fml

  • You may laugh at me but I love stuttering girls... stuttering is sexy :D

  • @Filozofek Can you explain more? I'm just curious about it since I myself stutter too but not as severely as her. My boyfriend and exs have been fine with it but I still don't understand why they do because I hate it so much that I can't imagine anyone can be okay with it, not to mention to think it's sexy?!

  • WHAT YOU DOING IS BRAVE. I STUTTER TO. I KNOW THE FELLING TRUST ME,. I LOOK UP TO YOU FOR, DOING THIS FILM. . I WILL BE WAY TO SHY. KEEP UP THE FIGHT.

  • This... I wish I could even give her some of my speech ability :/ She seems like a sweet person

  • Mmmmmmmmmmm

  • (cont3) Remember the scene in the movie First Knight when Percival was displaying his sword fighting skills. He defeated a formidable opponent who asks him why he was so good. Percival replied study your opponent (focus on the speaker/listener) and not care whether you live or die (don't care if you stammer or are fluent, just focus to bannish fears and doubts).

  • (cont) Many say that they never stammer when they forget they have a stammer. You forget because you shifted your focus away from yourself. I had experiences dealing with an emergency, and I was fluent because the situation demanded my attension. When you are the listener, then focus on listening rather than anticipation when you have to speak again. It takes a while but you will get increasing benefits. Keep the focus off yourself, and focus only on your listeners.

  • You get what you focus your mind & heart on. If you feel uncomfortable emotions rising then what happens is that your mind is flipping between yourself and the listener rapidly. Your breaking your focus by your inner world, when you should be focusing on the outer world. I learned this during times of seemly random fluency. Focus on your listener, only your listener and never yourself.

  • She is going to overcome her stutter for sure. She is brave. I used to stutter as much as she does in this video and my stutter is very mild nowadays thanks to speech therapy and fear overcoming in all kinds of dialog situations.

  • friends make fun of me,

  • yo dats sad n shes pretty

  • stuttering goes away when you get older in most cases i used to stutter a lot in elementary and middle school but it went away towards the beginning of high school thank god!

  • awesome video:) I stutter too so I know how it feels.

  • ya I am facing the same problem..... and used many tricks but i do think that when u fear inside you can not speak correctly... so try to forget that you stammer and be cool....i have managed much... but still.. facing challenging.....keep up dear...
