  • I'm a little surprised to see he has such a fan following in Japan considering he made some very anti-japanese kung fu films in the early 70s.

Very cool to see this. Thank you for sharing it.

  • I have a new found respect for the man because he is so humble.

  • greatest martial arts movies actor of all times JIMMY WANG YU

  • I beg to differ. He is one of the greatest, but the greatest one and the most iconic in Martial Arts will always be Bruce Lee.

  • Jimmy Wang Yu invented the modern kung fu movie while Bruce Lee was still twatting around America making guest appearances in 'Love, American Style'.

  • Yet... Bruce Lee made the biggest impact and influence in Martial Arts. Even to this day, most people associate Martial Arts with Bruce Lee. Not to mention that Bruce Lee was a true Martial Artist.

  • Wang Yu is still very much alive and kicking, thank you for the posting......

  • I heard long time ago that actor Wong Yu died. Was that true? Anybody know if he still alive or he died? How long are these interview?

    Thanks

  • Thanks for puting both parts up. There's not a chance I would have seen this any other way.

Wang Yu coming out of retirement would be awesome. I assume he'd just be directing, of course. He certainly seemed to have an endless amount of inventive ideas in the 70s.
