Wang Yu coming out of retirement would be awesome. I assume he'd just be directing, of course. He certainly seemed to have an endless amount of inventive ideas in the 70s.
I'm a little surprised to see he has such a fan following in Japan considering he made some very anti-japanese kung fu films in the early 70s.

Jimmy Wang Yu invented the modern kung fu movie while Bruce Lee was still twatting around America making guest appearances in 'Love, American Style'.
